HAMAG-BICRO Call for International Collaborative Projects under Eurostars 3 – European Partnership on Innovative SMEs (Call 10).

Eurostars?

Eurostars is a program for innovative R&D performing SMEs They want to develop new products, services or processes in cooperation with international partners.

Eurostars is part of the European Partnership for Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which The European Union co-finances through the Horizon Europe programme. The research programme in Croatia is funded by the Second Swiss Contribution to Reduce Economic and Social Inequalities in EU Member States.

The programme encourages SMEs to:

• investment in research and development,
• international cooperation;
• development of innovations with the potential to be placed on the international market.

The basic requirement is participation. at least two Eurostars member countries in the project.

Who can apply?

The lead partner must be a small or medium-sized company actively conducting research and development (R&D performing SME).

The role of R&D companies in the project must be significant.

At least 50 % the total project costs of R&D activities must be met by SMEs implementing R&D (excluding subcontracting costs).

Financing, duration and costs of the project

• Maximum aid amount: up to €200,000 per project
• Aid intensity: up to 60 % for micro and small enterprises and up to 50 % for medium-sized enterprises
• Duration of the project: up to 36 months

Costs are also eligible:

• salaries of employees,
• depreciation and small inventory,
• external services,
• travel expenses,
• other development costs related to the project.

These vouchers are a great opportunity for B2B to connect, share knowledge and create new projects in the fields of sustainability, circular economy, digital security and mechatronics.

What is financed?

One company can receive one voucher for one employee to cover travel, accommodation or registration fees.

The voucher amounts are fixed and allocated by country:

• Spain: €800
• Germany: €800
• Lithuania: €700
• Switzerland: €500
• Austria (Vienna): €500
• Austria (Graz): 300 €

Who can apply?

The public call is intended for micro, small and medium-sized companies engaged in research and
development of innovations, registered in the Republic of Croatia, which are eligible as project applicants under the Eurostars programme.

Crafts and natural persons are not eligible.

How to apply?

Applications are received via online forms.

The online application must be accompanied by:

1. CV of the person to travel
2. Certificate from the Company's Tax Administration
3. Declaration on de minimis aid used

What is the application deadline?

The deadline for applications is 15 days before the event, and the call is open until the funds for 2026 are used.

The Service Accelerator is a free professional support program for small and medium-sized enterprises that want to develop a new service in tourism, activate existing resources throughout the year, extend the tourist season and increase revenues while attracting new market segments.

Service Accelerator developed as part of the project GreenSET It is based on the MEDSSIM methodology of service innovation. It aims to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises scale up Competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability in the development of innovative tourism services.

The program is intended for companies already active in tourism, but also those from other sectors that want to develop a service with application in tourism. Eligible applicants include, for example, ICT companies that develop digital tools for tourists, manufacturing companies with sustainable tourism products, and creative industries that design innovative tourism experiences.

The programme allows participants to:

• individual business consulting,
• mentoring support;
• practical tools to develop innovative solutions; and
• increased visibility at European level.

Participants will, with the support of experts STEP RI-I, go through the key stages of service development: internal analysis and mapping of ecosystems, identification of opportunities, generation of ideas, development and validation of the service and design of a sustainable business model. At the end of the program, every company will have New service concept developed. The programme will be implemented live.
