Applications for the Partnership for Growth Programme are open

The program organizes EIT Manufacturing Hub Croatia, It is designed to help start-ups and scale-ups to connect with manufacturing companies and strengthen their competences for starting business and innovation cooperation.

The duration of the program is 2 months, It will consist of a combination of education, individual counselling and opportunities to present and meet partners.

Programme participants:

  • through individual counselling will receive support in preparing profiles for finding partners that will be published on the website of EIT Manufacturing Hub Croatia and shared with the EIT Manufacuring network
  • help identify potential partners as well as prepare for contacts and arrangements;
  • By participating in the workshops, they will have the opportunity to learn more about the experiences and recommendations of companies successful in business development based on expertise and innovative solutions, and get acquainted with the programs of financing innovation cooperation as well as with the platforms for connecting in the manufacturing industry
  • on networking organized as part of the main this year's EIT Manufacturing Hub Conference planned for 7 December 2022 they will have the opportunity to produce companies and to present their competencies in direct contact and start cooperation discussions.

Competition for the selection of persons from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County whose development of innovation will be co-financed by non-refundable incentive funds in 2022

Primorje-Gorski Kotar County traditionally, through the Administrative Department for Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development, since 1995, announces a competition for the selection of persons from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County whose development of innovation will be co-financed by non-repayable incentive funds; and grants innovators incentives to develop innovation.

This year it is secured. 150.000,00 HRK grants that are planned to be deployed to develop the best-rated innovations.

Step Ri calls on SMEs to seize the opportunity to assess opportunities to digitalise their business

Step Ri the University of Rijeka Science and Technology Park has launched a public call for expressions of interest for participation in the a support programme aimed at assessing opportunities for the digitalisation of business. The program is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises that want to improve their business by introducing new technologies, in order to become more competitive and successful.

Support is provided by Enterprise Europe Network Croatia This call will assess business digitalisation opportunities for: 5 companies. The assessment shall include: initial analysis, follow-up consultation and preparation of reports on opportunities and opportunities for the introduction of new technologies in business. It is possible to participate in person and online.

The benefits for participating SMEs are:

  • getting a clear picture of their own needs and opportunities to improve their business with the help of new technologies;
  • identification of the business areas with the greatest potential for improvement;
  • identification of specific technologies with the greatest potential for business improvement;
  • consultation after initial analysis;
  • preparation of a report that will include conclusions and guidelines for improving business with the help of new technologies, which is a potential basis for the development of a detailed action plan or the preparation of a project application for co-financing under State aid.

The assessment of opportunities for business digitalisation is carried out by employees of the Step Ri Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, which is also a member of the European Digital Innovation Centre – EDIH Adria, established in cooperation with Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Infobip, SmartRI, the University of Rijeka and the University of Pula.

PUBLIC CALL - Commercialisation of Innovation

the Primorje - Gorski Kotar CountyAdministrative Department for Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development) and FIPRO Foundation published Public call to apply for project funding Commercialisation of innovation.

The competition is open from 22 August by 1 October 2022 of the year.

The total amount of funds to be allocated shall be the highest 200.000,00 kn per user.

Acceptable applicants:

  • natural persons (innovators willing to enter a business venture or transfer their rights to another economic operator),
  • small business entities in accordance with the Small Business Development Promotion Act (OG 29/02, 63/07, 53/12, 56/13, 121/16) and the European Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC of 6 May 2003, referring to companies outside the public sector and privately owned crafts based in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

Applicants who have concluded a Funding Agreement with the FIPRO Foundation for the last 2 (two) years do not
may be beneficiaries of funding and their application will not be considered.

FINANCIAL SUBJECT

Funds assigned to finance the following eligible costs development and commercialization
Innovation:

  • the manufacture or supply of the necessary equipment, tools and materials for the production of innovation where it cannot be contracted out as an external service;
  • making, testing, perfecting a prototype of a product or process for the provision of a service;
  • market launch preparations, promotional activities, contracting activities and development of distribution sales channels
  • certification or certification of products or services with a view to market entry;
  • search the state of the art, preparation and protection of intellectual property.


Funds are will not award for the following ineligible costs:

  • created before the publication of the public call
  • connected to land, buildings, infrastructure (connections, etc.)
  • purchase or purchase of a motor vehicle
  • all types of taxes and duties including VAT
  • costs already financed through EU or other national and international programmes
  • other expenses that the Committee and the Foundation Manager assess as unnecessary, inadmissible or inappropriate, either in terms of height or content, which will be reported in writing to the Applicant whose application has been assessed positively.
