Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) has again made available to entrepreneurs Financial instrument ESIF Micro loan for working capital.
Objective The financial instrument is lending to micro and small entities of the small economy under more favourable financing conditions.
Purpose of the loan the financing of working capital, i.e. Financing of costs:
- preparation of production,
- raw materials and materials;
- other production costs,
- employee costs,
- lease of office space,
- overheads,
- general expenses.
The financial instrument is intended for entities which, pursuant to the Small Business Promotion Act, have the status of a micro or small entity of a small holding and which, at the time of submission of the Loan Application:
- registered and carrying out the activity for which the loan is requested,
- have more than 50% private property/capital/voting rights;
- have at least one full-time employee;
- have no giro account continuously blocked for more than 30 days in the last 6 months and are not currently blocked,
- have no outstanding liabilities to the State or have agreed with the State to reschedule liabilities in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Terms and repayment of the loan:
- Minimum loan amount: 1.000,00 EUR
- Maximum loan amount: 25,000.00 EUR
- Interest rate: 0,5 %
- Period of use: 3 months after the disbursement of the loan
- Starting point: up to 6 months (if repayment is at least 2 years)
- Repayment period: 1 to 3 years (inclusive)
- Repayment dynamics: Quarterly Rate
- Security instruments: Promissory notes of the borrower and owner and other collateral
- Loan approval fee: free of charge

Sixteen years in a row, as part of Lifelong Learning Week, citizens have the opportunity to participate in free lectures, workshops, round tables and similar events.
Lifelong Learning Week The UNESCO initiative was launched in 1999 and is celebrated every year in a number of countries on all continents and with the same objectives: sensitise the public to build a positive atmosphere about the importance and need of lifelong learning, promote a culture of learning and encourage personal motivation of individuals to engage in lifelong learning processes.
Activities 16. Lifelong Learning Week, started on Monday 26 September and runs until 2 October 2022.

In cooperation with EIT Food zajednicom znanja i inovacija pokrenutom od strane Europskog instituta za inovacije tehnologiju, Lean Startup Croatia pokreće EWA (Empowering Women in Agrifood) program s ciljem pružanja podrške poduzetnicama u poljoprivredno-prehrambenom sektoru u ranoj fazi njihove karijere kako bi uspješno razvili održivo poslovanje.
EWA program uključuje specijaliziranu online obuku, personalizirano mentorstvo, umrežavanje, financijsku podršku i mogućnost članstva u EIT Food zajednici i u potrazi je za hrvatskim poduzetnicama koje imaju ideju ili razmišljaju o poboljšanju poljoprivredno-prehrambene industrije.

Applications are on-going at Intrapreneurship challenge competition EIT Manufacturing Knowledge and Innovation Community, designed to help end-users of manufacturing processes to make human work safer, more ergonomic and environmentally friendly with solution-creating companies, or to address other social and environmental issues.
The competition is intended for:
- People employed in manufacturing companies who want to improve their daily business routine by helping their company identify technical difficulties.
- Manufacturing end users who can improve their own production and business by implementing solutions tailored to their needs.
- Solution providers who will thus have the opportunity to increase the portfolio of their services and create new sources of revenue using new solutions created together with end users.
Intrapreneurship challenge in short:
- End user a solution supported by one or two of its employees who will play a role; Intrapreneur apply for a challenge with a Solution Provider (Service provider) to jointly implement the Intrapreneurship challenge.
- Implementation must lead to visible improvement for employees end usera and/or lead to significant improvements for end usera economic and/or social and environmental aspects.
- The maximum funding that can be obtained from this project is EUR 50 000.
- Organisations from EIT RIS countries, including Croatia, can apply
