U studenome idemo u Lisabon na Web Summit 2026, jedan od najvećih svjetskih tehnoloških događaja, gdje ćemo u suradnji s the City of Rijeka predstaviti Sinerganu, novi inkubator za IT i kreativne industrije.

Web Summit održava se od 9. do 12. studenoga 2026. i okuplja startupove, investitore, tehnološke tvrtke, potencijalne poslovne partnere, stručnjake i medije iz cijelog svijeta.

Dio našeg sudjelovanja otvaramo poduzetnicima i startupima koji žele predstaviti svoje rješenje, povezati se s međunarodnim partnerima i investitorima ili jednostavno upoznati globalnu startup i tehnološku scenu.

Osigurali smo dvije mogućnosti sudjelovanja – ALPHA izlagački paket za startupove te partnerske ulaznice za posjet konferenciji.

1. Predstavite svoj startup kroz ALPHA izlagački paket

For dva odabrana startupa osigurat ćemo ALPHA izlagački paket koji uključuje:

• jednodnevni izlagački prostor u odgovarajućoj industrijskoj zoni,
• tri ALPHA ulaznice za sva tri glavna konferencijska dana,
• predstavljanje startupa na mrežnoj stranici Web Summita,
• pristup službenoj networking aplikaciji,
• pristup Investor Meetings i startup masterclassovima,
• mogućnost prijave za PITCH i Mentor Hours,
• podršku Web Summit startup success managera u pripremi nastupa.

Vrijednost triju pojedinačnih ulaznica iznosi 2.850 eura, a paket dodatno uključuje izlagački prostor, međunarodnu vidljivost i pristup posebnim startup aktivnostima.

Tko se može prijaviti za ALPHA paket?

Za ALPHA paket mogu se prijaviti neovisni startupi koji:

• posluju kraće od šest godina,
• nisu prikupili više od milijun američkih dolara ulaganja,
• imaju lansiran vlastiti softverski proizvod, tehnološko rješenje ili povezani hardverski uređaj,
• imaju aktivnu mrežnu stranicu.

Konzultantske, marketinške i razvojne agencije te podružnice većih organizacija ne ispunjavaju uvjete ALPHA programa.

Konačnu potvrdu prihvatljivosti odabranih startupa daje organizator Web Summita.

2. Sudjelujte na Web Summitu kao posjetitelj

Ako ne ispunjavate uvjete ALPHA programa ili niste zainteresirani za izlaganje, možete iskazati interes za jednu od ograničenog broja partnerskih ulaznica.

Ulaznica omogućuje pristup konferencijskim sadržajima, izlagačkom prostoru, predavanjima, networking aplikaciji i drugim aktivnostima Web Summita.

Aktualna redovna cijena pojedinačne ulaznice iznosi 950 eura.

Što osiguravamo, a što sudionici organiziraju sami?

Za odabrane sudionike osiguravamo ALPHA izlagačke pakete, odnosno partnerske ulaznice.

Sudionici samostalno organiziraju i financiraju:

• put do Lisabona i povratak,
• smještaj,
• lokalni prijevoz,
• prehranu, dnevnice i ostale troškove boravka.

Innovation, new technologies, start-ups, investments and the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems come back to one place.

Innovate Split 2026 will take place 10 and 11 September u Technology Park Split, It will bring together entrepreneurs, start-ups, investors, experts and organisations involved in the development of the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem over two days.

This year we are part of the Innovate Split story through participation in the Ecosystem Forum dedicated to the role of entrepreneurial and technological centers in the development of the startup ecosystem.

From local support to regional growth

How can local entrepreneurship and technology centres encourage the development of start-ups? Where does their role in providing infrastructure end and community building, connecting with other actors and opening up opportunities for growth begin?

These are the topics that will be discussed in the panel:From Local Hubs to Regional Growth: The Role of Tech Parks in Startup Ecosystems“, which shall be held 10 September from 15:20 to 16:00 within the Ecosystem Forum.

In addition to our Emir, Diana Mudrinić, Triangle Šibenik and Nebojša Bjelotomić, Center for Digital Transformation, will participate in the conversation, while the panel will be moderated by Sara Lerota, Šatori Catalyst.

For us, this is a topic that we encounter on a daily basis through the management of business incubators, working with entrepreneurs and developing support programs that follow their needs in different phases of business. The panel will therefore be an opportunity to exchange experiences on how local entrepreneurial centres can become an important link between entrepreneurs, knowledge, infrastructure, partners and the wider innovation ecosystem.

What does Innovate Split 2026 bring?

This year's program will take place on four stages: Innovation Mainstage, Tech Frontiers, Ecosystem Forum and Founders & Capital with more than 50 speakers and 300 participants.

Through lectures, panels and conversations, topics will be opened the development of innovation and new technologies, start-up ecosystems, investments and capital, and the creation of better conditions for the growth of new business ideas;.

In addition to the program itself, Innovate Split is an opportunity to meet and connect entrepreneurs, investors, experts and organizations from different parts of Croatia and the region.

Rijeka's entrepreneurs are getting a new place to connect, exchange experiences and develop their business.

The City of Rijeka RiBiz Women, a new platform for women in entrepreneurship, which will operate under RiHuba.

The platform is conceived as a space of practical support to Rijeka entrepreneurs, and its activities will be developed in cooperation with the entrepreneurs themselves, according to their needs and challenges they encounter in business.

The First Big Gathering RiBiz Women communities will take place 17 September 2026 at 2 p.m. in RiHub, and in addition to panels and the exchange of entrepreneurial experiences, it also brings two concrete opportunities for the involvement of female entrepreneurs from Rijeka.

Female entrepreneurship from the inside – from idea to branded story

The central part of the event will be a panel. "Women's entrepreneurship from the inside – from idea to branded story", which will bring together women entrepreneurs and experts from different fields.

He will talk about his experiences:

• Tanja Džido, Personal Branding Advisor and LinkedIn
• Sanja Stamenić Oštrić, Marketing and Business Development Director of Solana Nin
• Alma Krpan, entrepreneur and consultant with many years of experience in finance
• Branka Kurelić, entrepreneur and owner of Leka handicrafts, with experience in marketing, project management and entrepreneurship

The event will be opened by the Mayor of Rijeka Iva Rinčić, who will also participate in the Q&A part of the program.

Have a question about business? Set it up by the mayors

One of the more interesting parts of the first RiBiz Women event will give Rijeka entrepreneurs the opportunity to directly ask the mayors a specific question related to their business.

Questions can be sent by entrepreneurs and craftsmen based in Rijeka, and should relate to areas under the jurisdiction of the city administration and city utility companies and companies.

Questions are submitted in advance via this eForms, by 2 September 2026 at the latest. The number of questions that can be answered during the event will be limited and the questions cannot be asked anonymously.

Present your business

RiBiz Women also opens up space for the presentation of Rijeka's entrepreneurial stories.

Entrepreneurs and craftsmen whose business entities are registered in Rijeka can apply for Free participation in the exhibition part of the event and present their products, services and operations to other Participants.

At the promotional point, it is possible to display products, samples, brochures and catalogues or present services via your own laptop. The exhibition part is exclusively of a promotional nature and the sale of products and services is not envisaged.

RiBiz Women is conceived as a platform that will not stop at one event. The goal is to bring together the community of Rijeka entrepreneurs and through future activities create content and forms of support that correspond to their real needs.

The first event is an opportunity to get to know the new platform, connect with other entrepreneurs, exchange experiences and actively engage in a community that is just beginning to build.

At a time when technological development is accelerating and global competition between major world powers is intensifying, the issue of European technological sovereignty is becoming more important than ever. How can Europe turn cutting-edge research into globally successful products and companies? How to build an economy that at the same time fosters innovation, protects democracy and develops the digital skills of the future?

These issues will be discussed at the conference. ‘Win the global race: why it is important to choose Europe", which will take place 9 July 2026 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, organised by European Commission Representations in Croatia and Algebra Bernays University, with the partnership of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb and the Ruđer Bošković Institute.

The conference is intended for representatives of the public sector, entrepreneurs, startups, investors, researchers, academia, students and anyone who wants to participate in shaping Europe's technological future.

A European vision of technological sovereignty

The conference will focus on the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security and Democracy. Henna Virkkunen, It will present a European vision for the development of artificial intelligence, advanced digital technologies and innovation.

Its portfolio covers key areas such as the development of the European digital economy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the protection of democracy, digital infrastructure and the technological capacities needed to keep Europe competitive in a global environment.

How can Europe turn knowledge into a competitive advantage?

The conference will bring together representatives of European institutions, the Croatian Government, the academic community, research institutions, entrepreneurs, investors and the technological community.

Special emphasis will be placed on:

• investments in research and development,
• developing digital and STEM skills;
• strengthening the capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises;
• making more efficient use of European programmes such as Horizon Europe, InvestEU i Digital Europe,
• the role of the European Investment Bank in financing technological innovation.

One of the key issues will also be how to create the conditions for the growth of European startups and future tech unicorns.

Croatian Success Stories

Special programme units will be dedicated to Croatian examples of good practice.

Representatives of leading technology companies, research organizations and the startup community will talk about how to build globally competitive products from Croatia, how to connect science and the economy and how to develop a strong innovation ecosystem.

Innovation, Security and Democracy

In addition to technological developments, the conference will also raise important issues of European legislation in the digital age, from the safety of children and young people online to the development of trustworthy artificial intelligence and a regulatory framework that simultaneously protects citizens, fosters innovation and strengthens European democracy.

At a time when technological advances are shaping the economy, security and society, the question is not only how to innovate, but also how to ensure that Europe remains a place where innovation serves people.
