Blue Green City: 8th online meeting of project partners held

On 25 May 2021, the partners of the Blue Green City project attended the eighth online meeting organised by the lead partner – Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur. 

The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of best practices in the field of implementation of the GBI concept identified individually by the project partners, in accordance with the regional context and the real situation in the implementation of best practices.

For the smooth running of this activity, the partners had the support and expertise of an Italian partner – Regione Piemonte and an English partner – of the University of Greenwich.

In this direction, short presentations were held to highlight the main elements of the identified best practices and the challenges and opportunities in their implementation, followed by discussions on exploring effective ways to improve them, with a particular focus on the portability of practices, the innovative character and the added value they bring.

Blue Green City: 7th online meeting of project partners held

On 27 April 2021, Blue Green City partners attended the seventh online meeting organised by the lead partner – Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur. 

The main topic of the meeting was the analysis of barriers and drivers for the adoption of the concept of blue and green infrastructures in each partnership region. In this direction, all project partners held presentations on the key obstacles and opportunities for adopting the BGI concept at the regional level.

The next partnership meeting will be held on 25 May 2021 on the topic of good practices in the field of blue and green infrastructures identified during the implementation of the project by all partners.

Blue Green City: 6th online meeting of project partners held

On 30 March 2021, Blue Green City partners attended the sixth online meeting organised by the lead partner – Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur. 

The main topic of the meeting was the development of strategies for involving stakeholders in project activities. In this direction, presentations were held on proposals for stakeholder engagement strategies from each partnership region (conceptual definition of stakeholder participation, steps in the stakeholder engagement process, typology and role in achieving project objectives).

The next partnership meeting will be held on 27 April 2021 and will deal with the analysis of barriers and drivers at the regional level for the adoption of blue and green infrastructures.

Blue Green City: 5th online meeting of project partners held

On 23 February 2021, the Blue Green City project partners attended the fifth online meeting organised by the lead partner – Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur. 

The main topic of the meeting was the analysis of individual and predefined policy instruments of each project partner according to the approved project form. To carry out these analyses, the partners had the support and expertise of the Italian partner – Regione Piemonte and the English partner – University of Greenwich.

Short presentations were held on the essential characteristics of the relevant policy instruments, the challenges and opportunities identified in their implementation, as well as measures aimed at promoting blue and green infrastructure (BGI).

The next meeting of the partnership will be held on 30 March 2021, which will address the issues of elaboration and implementation of regional stakeholder engagement strategies.
