On Friday, 17 September 2021, starting at 2.30 p.m. We will hold Torpedo Days event at the Torpedo Production Park at Milutina Barača 60/I. floor, conference room. We organize the event with the City of Rijeka, the Department of Entrepreneurship and the Centre of the City Administration Europe Direct Rijeka.
Torpedo Days is an event that highlights the promotion of new technologies, and theme is merging new technologies with different industries. The participants of the event are representatives of universities, the public and the private sector who will have the opportunity to present their thoughts in view of the needs and opportunities of development through the application of new technologies. That is why the Torpedo Production Park is a great place for such a discussion where the development and application of additive technologies is encouraged.
Tomislav Breški from Končar – Electric vehicles d.d. at the end of the welcome speeches, he will open an event on the topic ’Additive manufacturing in industry’.
At 3 p.m. it will start Panel on “Connecting new technologies with industry“. The panel will lead Dražen Šimičević the Agency Vienna Business Agency, the first contact point for all companies trying to build a business in Austria. Participants of the panel are prof.dr.sc. Marina Franulović with the Faculty of Engineering University of Rijeka, doc.dr.sc. Miro Hegedić with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture University of Zagreb i Lean Startup Croatia, Tomislav Breški from Končar – Electric vehicles d.d. and Dario Zoric, Director of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin.
At the end of the panel, at 4 p.m., we will sign Cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rijeka and visit the Torpedo Production Park. It is scheduled to be completed at 5 p.m. and will be preceded by reception.
