Reward notice for the Fiesta project

Wednesday, December 28th. 2016 at 10:00 am at the premises of the Rijeka Development Agency, Milutina Barača 62, there will be a prize game "Saving and Valuing Efforts ENERGY" as part of the European project "Fiesta" – Family Intelligent Energy Saving Targeted Actions – Promoting intelligent energy savings in families, co-financed by the European Commission through the Intelligent Energy for Europe programme. The project holder is the City of Rijeka, and the prize game will be conducted by the Rijeka Development Agency Porin.

The right to participate was acquired exclusively by adult representatives of family households residing in the territory of the City of Rijeka, provided that they participated in the activity of the FIESTA project with one coupon each in household workshops where educated FIESTA energy advisors filled out a questionnaire with the aim of expressing the consumption of electricity in the household, through educational workshops and through participation in free energy consultations.

Youth employment at reduced interest rates

Involvement in the EIB's Youth Employment Initiative (Jobs for Youth Initiative); HBOR provides end-users of loans that employ and/or will employ young people with an additional advantage of reducing the interest rate by 50 basis points. A young person is one who is at least 15 years old and at most 30 years old at the time of recruitment/training.

The final beneficiaries eligible for interest rate reduction are: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises meet at least one of the following four criteria:

  1. have employed and still employ at least one young person or plan to employ at least one young person within the next 6 months, counting from the date of signing the loan agreement with the end-user, during the 6 months prior to the submission of the loan application to HBOR or a commercial bank;*, or
  2. offer vocational training for young people or traineeships/training programmes for young people at the time of the application for the loan and there is written evidence that the young person(s) has/have used such services, or
  3. at the time of the loan application, have a cooperation agreement for the employment of young people concluded with a school or educational institution providing university or professional studies (e.g. during a summer traineeship) and there is written evidence that the young person(s) used such services, or
  4. already benefit from aid through national measures to encourage (young) employment at the time of the loan application.

The final beneficiary shall also submit a completed "Declaration on the fulfilment of the Youth Employment Criteria" as a confirmation of the above with the Loan Application, which is available on the website www.hbor.hr

The measure applies to the entire loan repayment period. The resources foreseen for the implementation of the measure are limited.

* This item covers an employment relationship of indefinite duration, a fixed-term employment relationship, a fixed-term employment relationship for permanent seasonal jobs, a probationary period, a traineeship, professional training without entering into an employment relationship, and does not cover the hiring out of workers through temporary employment agencies and work through student or student services.

AMPEU - Invitation to participate in regional workshops of the Department of Vocational Education and Training

Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes invites you to participate in regional workshops that will be organized with a view to gaining a better understanding of the activities of the Erasmus+ programme the field of vocational education and training like and better preparation for the submission of project proposals for Key Action 1 (KA1) – Mobility projects and Key Action 2 (KA2) – Strategic Partnerships.

 

The purpose of the regional workshops is to provide an opportunity interested potential applicants of KA1 and KA2 projects for Getting to know your goals more closely the above activities, providing guidance and advice on how to complete the application form; as well as Practical work on parts of the application form with the aim of preparing for the submission of project proposals within the Call for Proposals for the Erasmus+ Programme for 2017.

Priority is given to organizations interested in applying for project proposals at the new call for proposals in 2017. they have not had successful project applications so far, they have not implemented any projects under Key Actions 1 and 2; in vocational education and training and therefore in the same have a lack of experience or are complete beginners.

The number of participants in the workshops is limited. In the event of a large number of registered participants, the Agency for Mobility and European Union Programmes reserves the right to restrict participants coming from the same institution.

Invitation of JCI Rijeka (International Youth Chamber Rijeka) to the educational project “Samuraja 2.0 – 3 business enigmas (module 2)”

JCI or Junior Chamber International is one of the largest international non-profit organizations operating through more than 5,000 local organizations in more than 110 countries worldwide since 1915.

It brings together 200,000 members from different social spheres.  JCI is one of the key partners of the UN, whose members are leading global and local business people. In Croatia, JCI operates through four local organizations, JCI Rijeka, JCI Zagreb and JCI Split and JCI Osijek.

The aim of the project Put Samuraja 2.0 – 3 business enigmas (module 2) is to inform young entrepreneurs who are the most common mistakes in business and how to successfully overcome them with concrete and applicable knowledge of excellent professionals.

Entrepreneurs will receive answers to a number of questions, and only some of them are as follows:

  • what are the differences and advantages in establishing a business or craft;
  • what are the types of company or craft, the basics of online marketing;
  • how to use them for your services and products,
  • labour law and its application in practice.

The project consists of three lectures that will include the following topics:

Advantages and differences in establishing a company or craftsmanship will be taught by Jana Blažević-Marčelja mag.oec, another topic from marketing the basics of online marketing, marketing expert certified Google partner Damjan Marković, while the third topic will relate to labor law and its application in practice, which will be taught by lawyer Ivan Primorac.
