National confederation of handcrafts and of SMEs – Territorial association of Ravenna, Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, CERTIMAC – Building materials certification from Italy; and Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o., Public Institution RERA s.d. for coordination and development of Split-Dalmatia County, City of Solin, Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, City of Rijeka from Croatia.
Total budget of the project: € 2,706,920,00 (ERDF: 2.300.882,00 €).
Financial support: EU, cross-border cooperation programme INTERREG V-A Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 (85%)
The aim of the project is to achieve real change, and to influence the diverse and unusual heritage of urban ports and the untapped potential of local communities by directly including them in the definition and launch of urban strategies. In this sense, TEMPUS will implement an integrated set of TUA's, focused on the idea of city ports as a mixed tradition, history, activity, architecture and culture, which will enable the creation of new contextual values that need to be capitalized to initiate a wider scope of the CR valorization and regeneration process (CRVRP), capable of fostering well-being and creating a new sense of living in ASUPs, deeply rooted in its cultural, urban and entrepreneurial dimensions.
The long-term primary objective of TEMPUS is to enhance new economic development based on the valorisation of the hidden tangible and intangible heritage of the ports, including the archaeological background and natural context of ASUPs, through the start of temporary use activities (TUAs).
