[Nature&Wildlife] About the project

The NATURE&WILDLIFE – Nature and wildlife observation experiences project was approved by the Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia Cooperation Programme and financed in the amount of 85% grants from the European Regional Development Fund.

The project promoter is RRA Zeleni kras d.o.o. from Pivka, which has signed a contract with the competent authority for the identification number SLO-HR 247 for a total value of EUR 982,694.29.

Other partners are:

  • Občina Pivka, Public institute for culture, turizem and medgenerational sodeliranje Snežnik,
  • Jezerski temple, Institute for natural and cultural dedication, Cerknica
  • Risnjak National Park Public Institution,
  • Local Development Agency PINS d.o.o.,
  • Rijeka Development Agency PORIN Ltd.

The partners are Woodland Ways Ltd I World Owl Trust from Great Britain and the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for the Agriculture of Nature and the Institute of Lands from Slovenia.

The project started on 1 September 2018 and lasts for 30 months.

Presentation of Dual Education in the Republic of Croatia as part of the activities of LPZ PGC

On 23 October 2018, the Dual Education System in the Republic of Croatia was presented to the members of the Local Partnership for Employment of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and other local stakeholders, primarily large economic operators. [Nature&Wildlife] 1st Partnership Meeting

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 9:00 am in Slovenia, the first partnership meeting within the Nature&Wildlife project was held.

The project is implemented with ERDF financial assistance within the Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia Cooperation Programme, Priority Axis 2: Preservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources; Program specific objective 2.1 Active nutrition of children through permanent tourism/ Programme specific objective 2.1 Active heritage protection through sustainable tourism.
