3D printing industry grows fast and opens new Opportunities for SMEs, ranging from faster prototyping to reduced costs and product manufacturing times. As part of an international project 3DOP - 3D Printing Optimized Production, provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to fully use the advanced technologies, knowledge and advisory services of one of the 30 project partners free of charge.

One of them is TEH LAB operating within the Rijeka Development Agency Porin. TEH LAB offers modern equipment based on additive technologies enable the manufacture of metal or polymer parts. In addition to 3D printing, TEH LAB also provides Digitalisation services of existing objects through high-resolution optical 3D scanning.

Public call

The Rijeka Development Agency Porin, as the only Croatian partner in the international project consortium 3DOP, invites small and medium-sized enterprises from all over Croatia to apply for the Public call published as part of the project and to gain free access to state-of-the-art technologies, expertise and advanced technical solutions in the field of additive manufacturing. This opportunity allows companies to develop, test and deploy advanced 3D technologies in prototyping and manufacturing – completely free of charge. In this way, Croatian SMEs can actively participate in the research of new business opportunities created through the implementation of the European 3DOP project. Selected companies receive not only access to technological testing and technical cooperation, but also personalised mentoring and advisory services designed to support innovation projects in the development and funding phase.

Entrepreneurs who apply to the Public Call can choose between several forms of cooperation. Particularly noteworthy is the service Free demonstrations and pilot services offered by our TEH LAB, through which entrepreneurs can test, optimize and adapt their own technologies. In addition to the services offered by the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, entrepreneurs can also choose one of the services offered by the remaining thirty partners on the 3DOP project. These include testing solutions developed through the project, a range of non-technical services such as mentoring, training, new projects and partnerships, public and private funding.

Who can apply and how?

The call is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises who want to develop innovation using additive manufacturing and advanced manufacturing technologies. Applications are open do 8. rujna 2025. godine.

Steps to apply:

1. Visit login portal for more information;
2. Submit your application via forms in English, subject to any general conditions;
3. Wait for evaluation and selection by the 3DOP team.

N.B.: If you are interested in the services of TEH LAB of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, then you choose the option within the application STRAND 2 - Free demonstration/piloting services.

What will the selected entrepreneur get?

Selected SMEs will receive highly specialized services completely free of charge. If the application is accepted, they will have at their disposal not only 3D printing service, but also technical support, mentoring and counseling by experienced project partners.

3DoP: EU project aimed at optimizing production through advanced 3D technology

3DOP is a project co-financed by the European Commission through the Interregional Innovation Investment Instrument (I3) with the aim of stimulating industrial growth and innovation through cooperation between European macro-regions. The project aims to remove barriers to the widespread uptake of AM by SMEs, in particular high costs, lack of automation and digital integration.

Through the collaboration of 33 partners, 3DOP offers A wide range of advanced 3D printing and support solutions for European manufacturing companies. The most important partner is Signify, the world leader in lighting for professionals, consumers and IoT lighting, formerly known as Philips Lighting. Other significant partners are Tracxon, ValCUN i 3Fact.

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries published tenders for the award of aid under two measures under the the Programme for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Republic of Croatia.

Call for proposals for aid under measure I.4. "First purchase of vessels for young fishermen"

The subject of support under this Competition is the allocation of dedicated grants to co-finance the first purchase of a fishing vessel for young fishermen;.

The deadline for submitting applications for support is 15 July 2025.

Call for proposals for aid under measure I.21. "Replacement of engines of fishing vessels"

The subject of support under this Competition is the allocation of dedicated grants to co-finance investments in exchange for the main engine of the fishing vessel; to mitigate the effects of climate change and improve the energy efficiency of fishing vessels operating in the commercial fishing at sea segment.

The deadline for submitting applications for support is 16 June 2025.

The ‘Zlata Bartl’ Foundation Podravka's foundation dedicated to promoting innovation, education and social responsibility through financial support for innovative projects, women entrepreneurs and excellent students and students has opened a competition for the award of support from one of its two programmes, the Power of Innovation programme.

Subject of the competition

Initiatives and projects aimed at Development and deployment of innovative solutions in the agri-food sector, for example:

• reducing food waste;
• climate change adaptation and mitigation;
• digital transformation of agriculture;
• use of renewable energy sources;
• prevention of air, water and soil pollution and contamination;
• organic farming of agricultural products;
• smart water management in production, etc.

The programme is intended for projects that can contribute to these areas or otherwise have a positive impact on the sustainability of the agri-food sector;.

Eligible applicants

You can apply for the competition Small business entities, companies, crafts and family farms established in the Republic of Croatia which more than 50% Women's Owned and which did not operate at a loss in the year preceding the year of application of the project.

Financial allocation

Total planned the value of the tender is 75,000 euros.
The minimum amount of aid requested per project is 5,000 euros, and the largest 25,000 euros.

The funds are disbursed in two instalments:

• 70% the advance payment after the signature of the grant agreement;
• 30% after completion and submission of the project implementation report.

Eligible costs

• Costs investments in material equipment – minor equipment and material required for the implementation of the project;
• costs services necessary for the implementation of the project such as research, market analyses, product design, product testing and similar services;
• costs training of employees.

Project eligibility criteria

• Innovation of the proposed solution – the degree of innovation of the project will be considered and whether the proposed innovation results in a product, service or process that is new and/or better than comparable solutions on the market;
• Value for money – consideration will be given to whether the project contributes to strengthening the innovation capacity of enterprises to develop and increase revenues from innovative products, services or processes;
• Competences of the project manager – the curriculum vitae outlines the key knowledge and competences required for the realisation of the project.

Method and deadline for submitting the application

Applications for the competition are received by 13 June 2025, 12 noon, to be submitted exclusively in Croatian through the Foundation's official forms.

Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced a tender for co-financing of sports programmes for the encouragement of local sport and sports competitions in 2025 in the following programme areas:

• PP 1 Encouraging programmes for the practice of amateur sports and health-oriented physical exercise,
• PP 2 Encouraging the program of organizing competitions and participation in them in which only athletes from the Republic of Croatia participate and the departure of athletes to international competition outside the Republic of Croatia,
• PP 3 Encouraging the program of organizing international sports competitions.

The main goals of the Competition are to design and implement effective and sustainable activities that will contribute to the development of sport, and are aimed at encouraging the practice of amateur sport and health-oriented physical exercise, organizing sports competitions or participation in sports competitions.

Financial allocation

The total amount of funds available is 3.880.190,00 euro, and the intensity of the public support is up to a maximum 80 % total eligible costs. Funds shall be allocated by area in the following amounts:

• PP 1 Encouraging programmes for the practice of amateur sport and health-enhancing physical exercise and PP 2 Encouraging programmes for the organisation of and participation in competitions involving only athletes from the Republic of Croatia and the departure of athletes to international competitions outside the Republic of Croatia – the minimum amount of co-financing shall be EUR 2 000.00 and the maximum shall be EUR 15 000.00;;
• PP 3 Encouraging programmes for the organisation of international sporting competitions – the minimum amount of co-financing is EUR 10,000.00 and the maximum EUR 30,000.00.

Eligible applicants

A legal person from the sports system – an association established in accordance with the Law on Associations and the Law on Sport and fulfilling all the conditions of the Competition set out in Instructions for applicants.

Applicants may have a partner(s):

• associations from the sports system entered in the Register of legal entities in sport,
• institutions from the sports system entered in the Register of legal entities in sport,
• educational institutions (kindergartens, primary and secondary schools) registered in the Court Register.

Eligibility conditions

The applicant can only send one application the Contest for Only one programme area.

Co-financed programmes must be implemented exclusively in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, except for the programme area PP 2 Encouraging the programme of organising and participating in competitions in which only athletes from the Republic of Croatia participate and the departure of athletes to an international competition outside the Republic of Croatia, which co-finances programmes relating to athletes' departures to international sports competitions outside the Republic of Croatia.

Deadline for submission of applications

Applications will be received from April 22nd. by 22 May 2025.
