Summary:

The beneficiaries of this support are small farms registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings, of an economic size expressed in the total standard economic output of the agricultural holding from EUR 2,000 to EUR 7,999.

The aid amount is EUR 15,000 per beneficiary and the payment is in 2 instalments over a maximum period of 3 years:

– And a war of 50% the total public support granted following the Decision granting the aid,

– 2nd instalment of 50% the total public support granted following the implementation of the activities shown in the business plan.
The aid application is submitted electronically via AGRONET, and upon completion of the electronic completion of the aid application in AGRONET, the beneficiary is obliged to print, validate/seal and sign and submit a certified Certificate of submission of the aid application by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt or in person at the addresses of the Paying Agency’s branches, depending on the location of the investment.

Support under sub-measure 6.3 may only be granted once during the 2014-2020 programming period per small farm.

Open call for type of operation 6.1.1. "Support to young POLICY ENTREPRENEURSHIP"

Subject the tender is the award of funds in accordance with Article 5(1). Sub-measure 6.1 "Support for business start-up for young farmers", Sub-measure 6.2 "Support for investment in the establishment of non-agricultural activities in rural areas" and Sub-measure 6.3. ‘Support for the development of small farms’ under M06 ‘Farm and business development’ of the Rural Development Programme of the Republic of Croatia for the period 2014–2020. 20-2020

Eligible beneficiaries are young farmers who are 18 years of age and less than 41 years of age at the time of submitting the aid application and who submit a business plan for an agricultural holding of an economic size between EUR 8 000 and EUR 49 999. As a precondition for participating in the tender, beneficiaries must be entered in the Register of Rural Development and Fisheries Aid Beneficiaries.

Eligible activities are:

  1. purchase of domestic animals, annual and perennial plants, seeds and planting material,
  2. the purchase, construction and/or equipping of closed/protected areas and facilities and other farm facilities including external and internal infrastructure within the farm for the purpose of carrying out agricultural production and/or processing of products prescribed by the Rules, with the exception of fishery products,
  3. purchase or lease of agricultural land,
  4. purchase of agricultural machinery, machinery and equipment,
  5. the establishment of new and/or restructuring of existing perennial crops,
  6. the regulation and improvement of the quality of agricultural land for the purpose of agricultural production,
  7. the construction and/or equipping of facilities for the sale and presentation of own agricultural products, including the costs of promoting own agricultural products,
  8. acquisition of the necessary expertise and ability to carry out agricultural production and processing of products,
  9. the operational operation of the agricultural holding.

The aid shall be granted in the form of a grant. The support funds are provided from the EU budget and the state budget of the Republic of Croatia, of which the EU participates with 90% the Republic of Croatia 10% shares. The aid amount per beneficiary is HRK 376,840.

Applications for the competition start to run from 21 December 2016, and the closing date for the submission of applications is February 24, 2017.

Permanently open Call for project applications for grants - Commercialisation of innovation in entrepreneurship

The permanently open Call for Proposals will be implemented under the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020, Priority 3 "Business Competitiveness"; Investment priority 3d "Supporting the creation of the capacity of SMEs to engage in the growth process in regional, national and international markets and innovation processes"; Specific Objective 3d2 "Increased innovation of SMEs".

The objective of this Call is to support projects aimed at new products and services with higher and high added value that have a positive impact on business performance and growth of companies and with market potential at international level.

Grants will be awarded through a permanently open Call for submission of project applications with the deadline for submission of project applications on 31 December 2017, i.e. until the use of available funds in the total value of 114,000,000,00 HRK.

The call is addressed to micro, small or medium-sized enterprises according to the definition set out in Annex I. Definition of small and medium-sized enterprises of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014.

The invitation provides for:

A) Innovation aid for SMEs

B) Aid for process and organisational innovation

C) De minimis aid (provided that the aid referred to in points A) and B)

The minimum grant amount that can be awarded to an individual entrepreneur under this Call is HRK 760,000,00, while the maximum grant amount that can be awarded to an individual entrepreneur is HRK 7,600,000,00.

Applications for the competition will be received from 9 January 2017 to 31 December 2017, i.e. until the funds are used.

Open call for proposals - "Promoting the sustainable development of natural heritage"

The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds has published an open call for proposals entitled ‘Promoting the sustainable development of natural heritage“, in value of $196 million.

Funding from calls under the European Regional Development Fund, the Competitiveness and Cohesion Operational Programme, is intended for the sustainable use of natural heritage with the aim of contributing to sustainable socio-economic development at local and regional level. The implementation of the projects will ensure an increase in attractiveness and educational capacity and the establishment of a better management of visitors to natural heritage destinations, whereby the projects must be aimed at developing public awareness of the importance of preserving biodiversity and geodiversity.

In line with the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion, eligible applicants for the competition are public institutions for the management of protected areas founded by regional and/or local self-government units, local or regional self-government units and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts for investments in a protected area;, and allowed partners are local and regional self-government units, civil society organisations, regional development agencies and tourist board offices.

The tender is conducted as an open Call for Proposals in a temporary modality, with a deadline for submission of project proposals by 5 March 2017 at 23:59, while the delivery of individual project proposals is allowed at the earliest of 6 December 2016

Visitor infrastructure and facilities;
Accessibility and communal facilities;
