Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (Administrative Department for Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development) and FIPRO Foundation launch a public call for applications for funding from the project Commercialisation of Innovation.
APPLICATIONS

FINANCIAL SUBJECT
An innovation that is proven to work, and that of its character, which is the holder of the innovation in the application.
ACCEPTABLE COSTS
- the production or supply of the necessary equipment, tools and materials for the production of innovation where it cannot be contracted as an external service;
- making, testing, perfecting a prototype of a product or process for the provision of a service;
- market launch preparations, promotional activities and contracting and development activities of distribution and sales channels;
- certification or certification of products or services with a view to market entry;
- search the state of the art, preparation and protection of intellectual property.

The City Office's open tender provides for a one-off award of small grants up to 700,00 EURA civil society organisations for the implementation of activities and projects that contribute to strengthening and improving the quality of life in the local community.
Activities/projects of non-profit organisations in the following areas are financed:
- Young – youth empowerment activities for active (co-)participation in the local community and youth activities for young people;
- Volunteering – activities related to the development and promotion of volunteering;
- National minorities – the protection and promotion of the rights of national minorities;
- International cooperation – promotional activities to improve the international cooperation of the City of Rijeka.
The basic criteria for co-financing are:
- the non-profit organisation must be registered in the Register of Associations or other relevant register and in the Register of Non-Profit Organisations (RNO);
- the non-profit organisation has been operating in the territory of the City of Rijeka for at least one year until the moment of the announcement of the Open Competition,
- the non-profit organisation must be registered to carry out the activities and activities that are the subject of the funding;
- the non-profit organisation must duly fulfil the obligations from all previously concluded co-financing agreements from the budget of the City of Rijeka.
The basic criteria for co-financing are:
- the application relates to the co-financing of an action/project from one of the priority areas;
- clearly defined and realistically achievable objective of the action/project;
- clearly defined beneficiaries of the action/project;
- clearly defined timing and place of implementation of the action/project;
- the quality of the work so far, and experience in the implementation of the applicant's activities/project,
- a realistic relationship between the costs and expected results of the action/project;
- share of volunteering engagement in the implementation of the declared activities/projects,
- Priority will be given to applications for activities/projects carried out in the territory of the city of Rijeka, with the exception of applications for activities/projects in the field of international cooperation.
- the application must be submitted no later than 45 (forty-five) days before the implementation of the action/project for which the ad hoc aid is requested.

For the purpose of educating children and their parents about the importance of consuming honey as well as including honey in the diet, Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development published Public call for expressions of interest of the founders of school institutions to participate in the School Honey Day Program from Croatian Apiaries for 2023.
The programme will be implemented throughout the territory of the Republic of Croatia in the first grades of primary schools, on 7 December 2023.
The programme aims to:
- promotion of honey from local producers packed in the National jar,
- increasing the intake of honey in the diet of children,
- raising the level of knowledge about the importance of honey as an integral part of a proper and nutritionally more favorable diet,
- educating students about the importance of beekeeping for overall agricultural production and biodiversity.
The founders of school institutions have the right to participate in the Public Call:
- Republic of Croatia
- local self-government units
- regional self-government units
- other legal or natural persons

The Administrative Department for Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County has published a public call for applications for projects for the award of low-value aid micro and small entrepreneurs and craftsmen in the area of Gorski Kotar for the development of tourist entrepreneurial potential 2023
Target group of beneficiaries
Small and micro-enterprises in 100% private property with headquarters in the area of Gorski Kotar (d.o.o., j.d.o.o. and crafts) registered to perform catering activities
Purpose
The funds are granted exclusively for the purchase of equipment or individual parts of equipment for the purpose of developing and improving catering capacities, in accordance with the scoring results based on the prescribed project evaluation criteria.
Total amount of aid
90.000,00 EUR
Aid amount
- 8o% eligible project implementation costs to beneficiaries implementing the project in the area classified as Tourism Development Index, up to a maximum of EUR 7 000.00;
- 90% eligible costs for the implementation of the project to beneficiaries implementing the project in the area classified in category lll of the Tourism Development Index, up to a maximum of EUR 8 000.00;
- 100% eligible costs for the implementation of the project to beneficiaries implementing the project in the area classified in the LV category of the tourism development index, up to a maximum of EUR 9 000.00.
