City of Rijeka has published a public call for grants for the organisation of events in the city of Rijeka in 2024 from the General Programme of Measures to Encourage the Development of Entrepreneurship in the City of Rijeka.
Subject of the call
Award of grants from the City of Rijeka for events that contribute to:
- the promotion and development of the Rijeka economy, entrepreneurship and crafts and the investment potential of the Rijeka area;
- promotion and development of tourism, especially congress, nautical, health, eno-gastro and other selective forms of tourism
Eligible events
The funding will be granted for the organisation and realisation of:
- economic events, congresses, fairs and fair events in the territory of the city of Rijeka;
- Eno - gastronomic events in the area of the city of Rijeka;
- other events in the area of the city of Rijeka that aim to promote entrepreneurship and the development of Rijeka as a tourist destination.
Eligible partners
Eligible applicants are economic operators, regardless of their size, which are exclusively privately owned, having their registered office in the Republic of Croatia.
Financial allocation
The total planned value of the Public Call is €40,000.00.
The funds are intended to co-finance the costs of procurement of goods and services for the immediate realization of events, namely:
- rental of equipment (audio and visual technique, stage, etc.);
- procurement of work/consumables related to the organisation of the event;
- remuneration (on the basis of contracts) of contractors and other contractors;
- rental/lease/concession fee for the event venue;
- accommodation and travel expenses for contractors and contractors;
- lease of media space (press advertising, radio, outdoor advertising, online advertising);
- production of promotional materials for the event;
- administrative – accounting costs;
- other dependent costs of organising events deemed justified by the City of Rijeka.
Deadline for submission of applications
Applications are received by 12 February 2024 at 4 p.m.
