Port cities' stories told for entrepreneurial heritage management innovations

For the purpose of the TEMPUS project, work package 4 entitled Telling stories of port cities for entrepreneurial innovations of heritage management, activities are planned to get ideas based on history, which is shown at a virtual exhibition that can be viewed at My Port Heritage. This exhibition provided historical highlights of the development of pilot city ports in Ravenna, Solin and Rijeka on the flows of materials, culture, people and technology. Each partner publishes a call inviting all local stakeholders active in the cultural and creative industry to apply for ideas related to the heritage of the respective ports with the aim of managing their heritage.

The Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o. published the Call for Pilot Rijeka on 21 July 2021 on its website and it was open until 1 October 2021. The call was intended to enable creative people to submit ideas based on the construction, restoration and evaluation of cultural and natural heritage related to the port of Rijeka.

The purpose of this call is to establish a core of local entrepreneurial ecosystems aimed at supporting the cultural and creative industries through selected ideas.
