Export workshop for entrepreneurs from the area of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County will be held Thursday 30 November 2023from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Conference Hall the Rijeka Development Agency PORIN (Production Park Torpedo), Milutina Barača 60, Rijeka.
The export workshop is intended for undertakings already exporting or preparing to enter foreign markets They want to get up-to-date and useful information on various topics:
Why and how to export?
Where and how to find partners?
Possibilities and sources of funding, etc.
Lectures will be held by lecturers from institutions and organizations in charge of specific topics, i.e. the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Customs Administration, the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investment, the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development Group and the Croatian Exporters Association.
The workshop is free, and applications are received by Monday 27 November 2023 the Years on export@mingor.hr.

Through Info Day, entrepreneurs want to be given an insight into funding opportunities for research projects which will be available in 2024. Year 1:
EUREKA is a programme that encourages small, medium and large enterprises to cooperate with international partners in launching research and development (R&D) activities. The aim of the program is to encourage companies to invest in R&D activities and thus strengthen their innovation capacity. Co-financing depends on the size of the company with a maximum amount of support of EUR 200,000.
Eurostars the R&D programme was created as a joint initiative of EUREKA and the European Commission. The basic criterion is the participation of at least two member states. The main partner in the project must be a small or medium-sized company engaged in research and development (Innovative SME). Other project partners must be small or medium-sized enterprises. European Innovation Council (EIC) is a Horizon Europe instrument supporting world-class innovators, entrepreneurs and small businesses. With this instrument, the Council of Europe supports entrepreneurs with high potential to develop high-risk, breakthrough innovations that have an impact on shaping new markets and generating jobs, growth and prosperity in Europe. Entrepreneurs are supported through grants in the form of grants (guarantees), but also through a blended finance programme (grants combined with capital investments).
Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) – is the world’s largest network providing entrepreneurs with the information they need to develop their business and find quality business partners. Finding an international partner is one of the main challenges in the EUREKA, Eurostars and European Innovation Council programmes, and EEN, with its profiling service and finding business partners, fit perfectly into the aforementioned info day on these programmes.
In addition to information about programs and free support, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to hear a short presentation on the role and importance of pitch when applying to the EIC Accelerator.

In order to celebrate Erasmus Day, which was celebrated this year from 9 to 14 October 2023, we have gathered in cooperation with EUROPE DIRECT Rijeka at the Torpedo Production Park, the beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ programme in various fields presented their experiences and discovered the opportunities offered by the European Union!
For the appetizer we used a panel of scatters in which they participated Petra Zaninović (ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS coordinator of the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka), Madlen Zubović (librarian of the Rijeka Traffic School), AntonioŠimanić (student of the Rijeka Traffic School) and Petra Katana (Head of the Department for EU Projects and International Cooperation at the Institution for Adult Education Dante). The panellists presented their experiences of participating in the mobility provided by the Erasmus+ programme, the problems they encountered and how they solved them, and finally why they would recommend others to participate in the Erasmus+ programme.
For the main course, projects funded by the Erasmus+ programme were presented in an interactive environment. Project Mind over Metter presented Zagorka Prce Cheerful (Director of the Centre for Technical Culture Rijeka) who activated the present workshop using MOM cards created within the project.
Project for the development of career management skills: Fast Track, presented Ana Jerković (Project manager from the Rijeka Development Agency Porin). Through the quiz, the attendees had the opportunity to discover more about their career management skills.
Lucia Kero (Youth Counsellor of the City of Rijeka) presented the project City by measure of young people and how young people can get involved in creating activities and content that interest them.As the saying goes, "In a healthy body, a healthy spirit!", in order to be able to develop their skills, participating in various activities is also good to do sports. That's right, Iris Spain (Department for EU projects, Rijeka Sports Federation) presented Erasmus+ projects in the field of sport and how to get involved in them.
As a sugar in the end, for dessert, EUROPE DIRECT Rijeka and CTK presented the DiscoverEU initiative and showed the young people present how to discover Europe's diversity, learn about its cultural heritage and history and socialize with people from all over Europe!
The event was attended by representatives of secondary schools, faculties, associations, experts in the field of adult education and students.
We are pleased that this event, as well as the Erasmus+ programme, has been recognized in our area and that this event has resulted in numerous collaborations among participants, which is a great example that such meetings have a good impact on connecting all sectors of society
