Education "Preparation and implementation of EU projects"

Education "Preparation and implementation of EU projects" It is intended for all people who are interested in the possibility of financing projects with EU funds. The participants will be educated and perfected on examples from the reference database of projects of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin and on concrete calls for proposals available to companies and institutions in the Republic of Croatia. Examples will include infrastructure projects, rural development projects, projects for the development of entrepreneurship and tourism, culture, social inclusion, energy efficiency and research and development projects.

RRA Porin participated as a leader and partner in more than 40 EU projects in the period from 2004 until today. All lecturers have extensive experience in the preparation and implementation of projects financed from European and national funds, which have been transferred to all interested parties through workshops, seminars and educations for years.

Education is divided into 3 thematic units:

  1. Fundamentals of the EU funds system and project financing mechanisms (10 hours)
    • Participants will get acquainted with the system of functioning of EU funds and project financing mechanisms and will learn to distinguish between grants and sources of funding in order to be able to independently inform and search for tenders for submitting project proposals
  1. Preparation and preparation of project documentation (25 hours)
    • Through practical work on current project application forms and application forms, participants will learn how to prepare tender and project documentation, master the methodology of project development, plan project financial management, recognize the relevance of project activities and results and the compliance of indicators with EU strategic documents and guidelines
  1. Implementation of contracted projects (10 hours)
    • Through practical work, each participant will master the planning and coordination of project activities, manage project revenues and expenditures, get acquainted with public procurement procedures within EU projects and learn how to create project progress reports and requests for reimbursement of funds as well as other implementation documentation

After completing the training for a period of 45 hours, the trainees will be able to independently prepare and submit the project to a public call for proposals and lead the project to which the competent authority grants funding. All attendees acquire certificate on attending training ‘Preparation and implementation of EU projects’, which, with the knowledge gained, opens the door to the world of EU funds.  The Rijeka Development Agency Porin leaves the doors open to the participants of education for each type of assistance and cooperation.

The training will be held 3 times a week from 17-20h (pon-sri-five).

The intensity and dates of the lectures can be further adjusted to the possibilities of the group.

The price of education:

  • HRK 4,500 (VAT included) for employees
  • 3,000 kuna (VAT included) for unemployed and students

The amount can be paid in two equal instalments.

Education ‘3D printing and 3D modelling’

Whether you are a student, high school student, entrepreneur or just3D print interested in 3D printing and 3D modelling technology, a 30h training course on ‘Basics of 3D printing and 3D modelling’ will help you master the basic skills needed to create functional three-dimensional models.

Do you want to implement 3D printing technology in your company? Enrich your resume and be ahead of the competition? Or just gain new knowledge about technological progress, this education is intended for you. You will find out how 3D modeling, 3D scanning and 3D printing make everyday life easier and improve business.

All participants will be educated on the examples of the application of 3D technology from real life, and the practical classes will be greatly contributed by 3D printers and 3D scanners located in the workshop. Master 3D modeling and 3D printing skills and gain valuable knowledge about the technology of the future.3D Modeling

The training is held in a state-of-the-art IT-technical workshop of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, and the lecturers are experts and experienced professionals specialising in 3D modelling and 3D printing.

After the education, the student receives a certificate of completed education lasting 30 hours, on the basis of 3D printing and 3D modeling, which guarantees him an open door to the world of new technologies.

[ENTER] Invitation to the conference and promotion of the Manual

On 30 September 2016 at 10 a.m., at the premises of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, the Handbook will be promoted as a result of one of the activities of the Enterprise in Interface – ENTER project.

The content of the Handbook is as follows:

  • Contains information on the Enterprise in Interface project co-funded by the European Union programme – Erasmus + .
  • Contains a guide on how to develop Regional Partnerships
  • It also includes templates that can be used to develop Regional Partnerships on their own.

Since 1 September 2015, the Rijeka Development Agency Porin has been participating in the Erasmus+ project ‘Enterprise in Interface’ – ENTER. The first partnership meeting took place on 1 and 2 October in Belfast. The duration of the project is 24 months.

Partners in the project are:

  • East Belfast Enterprise – Northern Ireland Development Agency located in Belfast
  • Canice Consulting – a consultancy agency in Northern Ireland specialising in online learning;
  • Creative Spark is a training agency for people living in the ‘interpretation’ area, Dundalk-Ireland
  • Momentum is a training agency focusing on social inclusion, Leitrim, Ireland
  • Business Development Friesland is an Entrepreneurial Incubator in the Netherlands, from the province of Friesland.

The aim of the project is to improve the access and quality of training of social organizations to vulnerable groups living in the areas of confrontation by updating their knowledge, skills and organizational abilities.

To achieve this, we will:

  1. a) Establish 4 ‘Enterprise in Interface’ alliances, with stakeholders from the public, private and non-profit sectors working together to explore the needs and opportunities to promote successful entrepreneurship in communities, and develop collective and individual strategies in 4 regional operational programmes.
  2. b) Create, publish and promote an “Entrepreneurial Handbook” and encourage the creation of further Alliances across Europe.
  3. c) Develop and publish a training plan and programme and training materials for emerging vocational practices, social innovation and business models and skills needed to effectively employ participants from these vulnerable backgrounds.
  4. d) Test, publish and strongly promote the course, in order to facilitate its inclusion in mainstream vocational education.
