After 30 months of implementation, the Local Partnership for Employment of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (LPZ PGŽ) successfully concluded the project LO.PA.Z. PLUS The aim was to increase the employability of vulnerable groups in the labour market in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and to ensure the sustainable functioning of the Local Partnership for Employment.
In order to succeed in this, the partners on the project LO.PA.Z. PLUS conducted trainings, mentoring and counseling that were intended for People looking for a job or planning to start a business. 366 unemployed people were included in the education of the project, of which 93 started their own business during the project, and 55 people were employed. Seven trainings were conducted in the field of cultural production, computer use, business competencies, development and implementation of EU projects, 3D modelling, public procurement and placement of products and services on the market. Services are provided for group, individual and online employment counselling (writing a CV, writing a motivation letter, preparing for a job interview) and advice on entrepreneurial opportunities. Information and mentoring services have been provided for those who want to start their own business and apply for self-employment measures, and two training sessions – business in the digital age and systemic entrepreneurship – have been carried out for those planning to start their own business.
Partners have developed a Program for Entrepreneurial Development in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County that offers an overview of all measures and incentives for entrepreneurs in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
The project has been approved from the Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020, which is financed by the European Social Fund.
