
The final conference of the project was held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. ‘Construction and equipping of the Ragan Business Incubator’ and the opening ceremony of the Entrepreneurial Incubator Ragan in Novalja on the island of Pag. In addition to complying with epidemiological measures, guests attended: Marko Markić, Director of the Management Board and Head of the EU Finance Department at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Župan Ličko senjski Darko Milinović, representative of the CFCA Dalibor Puhar, Mayor of the City of Novalja Ante Dabo, Director of PI Ragan Dinko Škunca and Dario Zorić and Silvia Nađ from the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, project partner.
The Ragan Entrepreneurial Incubator in Novalja is the first Croatian island incubator, primarily intended for novice entrepreneurs but also young companies. With 770 m² usable space divided into 16 business units, the incubator also has a conference room, a meeting room, and is equipped with a CNC machine and a 3D printer that will be available to tenants as well as external users. In addition to incubation programs, tenants and entrepreneurs will be provided with advisory services and various types of education through workshops, courses, lectures on the basics of entrepreneurship, marketing, business planning, project management, etc.
The total value of the project is 7.822.137,29 kn, of which the grant is 7.089.255,21 kn.
The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
