[CALL] Sixth call for applications to the LIFE European City Facility (EUCF)

LIFE European City Facility (EUCF) provides financial support to local authorities in the European Union, Iceland and Ukraine to enable them to develop investment concepts for activities aimed at achieving energy sustainability and energy efficiency.

The sixth call for applications will be open from 15 January to 15 March 2024 which will allow payment to be made €60,000 in a lump sum for 70 selected local self-government units. The EUCF will also provide practical support to local actors in developing their investment concepts, as well as capacity building and partnering opportunities for beneficiaries. All this is aimed at finding private or public sources of funding for your project ideas.

Grants can be used to produce technical feasibility studies, legal analyses, market analyses and more.

Who can apply?

Cities/municipalities, their groups, as well as local public entities bringing together municipalities/local administrations located entirely in the European Union. All Member States (EU-27), Iceland or Ukraine are eligible to apply for EUCF support.

Beneficiaries can engage local and regional energy agencies to develop an investment concept for their energy sustainability projects.
