Rijeka's entrepreneurs are getting a new place to connect, exchange experiences and develop their business.
The City of Rijeka RiBiz Women, a new platform for women in entrepreneurship, which will operate under RiHuba.
The platform is conceived as a space of practical support to Rijeka entrepreneurs, and its activities will be developed in cooperation with the entrepreneurs themselves, according to their needs and challenges they encounter in business.
The First Big Gathering RiBiz Women communities will take place 17 September 2026 at 2 p.m. in RiHub, and in addition to panels and the exchange of entrepreneurial experiences, it also brings two concrete opportunities for the involvement of female entrepreneurs from Rijeka.
Female entrepreneurship from the inside – from idea to branded story
The central part of the event will be a panel. "Women's entrepreneurship from the inside – from idea to branded story", which will bring together women entrepreneurs and experts from different fields.
He will talk about his experiences:
- Tanja Džido, Personal Branding Advisor and LinkedIn
- Sanja Stamenić Oštrić, Marketing and Business Development Director of Solana Nin
- Alma Krpan, entrepreneur and consultant with many years of experience in finance
- Branka Kurelić, entrepreneur and owner of Leka handicrafts, with experience in marketing, project management and entrepreneurship
The event will be opened by the Mayor of Rijeka Iva Rinčić, who will also participate in the Q&A part of the program.
Have a question about business? Set it up by the mayors
One of the more interesting parts of the first RiBiz Women event will give Rijeka entrepreneurs the opportunity to directly ask the mayors a specific question related to their business.
Questions can be sent by entrepreneurs and craftsmen based in Rijeka, and should relate to areas under the jurisdiction of the city administration and city utility companies and companies.
Questions are submitted in advance via this eForms, by 2 September 2026 at the latest. The number of questions that can be answered during the event will be limited and the questions cannot be asked anonymously.
Present your business
RiBiz Women also opens up space for the presentation of Rijeka's entrepreneurial stories.
Entrepreneurs and craftsmen whose business entities are registered in Rijeka can apply for Free participation in the exhibition part of the event and present their products, services and operations to other Participants.
At the promotional point, it is possible to display products, samples, brochures and catalogues or present services via your own laptop. The exhibition part is exclusively of a promotional nature and the sale of products and services is not envisaged.
Applications are open until 4 September 2026 or until the available space is filled and are received through this eForms.

RiBiz Women is conceived as a platform that will not stop at one event. The goal is to bring together the community of Rijeka entrepreneurs and through future activities create content and forms of support that correspond to their real needs.
The first event is an opportunity to get to know the new platform, connect with other entrepreneurs, exchange experiences and actively engage in a community that is just beginning to build.
