He pointed out that Vvo is not only an opportunity for entrepreneurs and businessmen, but also for all those young people, who are just coming to the labour market and who are certainly, at the very beginning, digitally and more ready.

The first day was reserved for the presentation of a unique platform 3D printing hub Ireland where, for the first time in this industry, three development centres from Rijeka, Osijek and Čakovec – the Torpedo Production Park – joined forces, BIOS i Core of metal. The platform was presented Mario Šercer from the Metal core Čakovec, Jean-Pierre Maričić from the Business Incubator BIOS and Dario Zorić pointing out that together they will provide entrepreneurs with a better, better and faster service! Check out what innovative solutions we have prepared for you through 3D printing technology on the web platform 3dprintinghub.hr.

Rijeka Development Agency Porin is a partner in the project ‘Optimisation of Production by 3D printing’ – 3DOP €14 million and funded by the European Commission's new Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) instrument.
The project is based on four ‘packages of investment projects’ that will develop technical solutions in targeted application areas: 3D printing of metals, 3D printing of electronics, 3D printing in the dental industry and automation of additive manufacturing. One of the pilot lines will be established in the Rijeka Development Agency Porin. The project plans to establish an innovation ecosystem to build sustainable investment chains of close-to-market projects.

The project and its main objectives were presented Matjaž Milfelner the Development Center TECOS and Dario Zoric.
The manufacturing industry is the main driver of industrial innovation, job creation and growth in Europe. The vision of the European Union is that Europe will be at the forefront of innovation in manufacturing, and with this mission in mind, HUBs across Europe have been established to bring together all stakeholders working in manufacturing and support them through education, interconnection and innovation projects. Such HUB was founded in Zagreb and presented by the presenter dr.sc. Miro Hegedić. He presented to the attendees and what opportunities through EIT Manufacturing Croatia offer for businesses.

The European Union celebrates this year as European Year of Skills. It looks at the mismatch between the skills that the workforce possesses and the skills that are currently needed in the labour market. We want to point out that this disparity can be eliminated through lifelong learning, continuous work and development of each of us.
Continuing the celebration of the Year of Skills, on the panel Young people in the manufacturing industry we gathered Dorjana Cindrića from Exevia, Karl Džafić from Hartera Robotics and Daniel Djuranovic as a representative of the Torpedo Production Park. They told us why they work in the manufacturing industry, what their favorite projects are and where they see themselves in the future, and how they intend to get there. They told those younger than themselves, but also those who want to change their career, to pursue their interests because they will always be enthusiastic about their work.

The end of the event was marked by a tour of the technology laboratory with demonstration of industrial equipment for additive technology (3D scanner, 3D printers and 3D modeling equipment).
The next day, on INVESTOR DAY- we have ensured that registered entrepreneurs present their ideas in front of investment funds South Central Ventures, Fil Rouge Capital i Silicon Gardens.
We would like to thank all of you for your support and pleasant meeting. See you at the next TORPEDO DAYS!
