Summary
This will Call to support companies' investments in green and/or digital technologies, strengthen competitiveness and boost SME growth to increase their ability to respond to market challenges caused by the crisis caused by the spread of the coronavirus. This Call will be financed through the instrument “Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe – REACT EU”. Applications are possible from 30.4.2021 to 31.05.2021.
Purpose of this call
Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises (SMEs) in domestic and global markets and preparing a green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy by encouraging energy-efficient and/or technologically advanced production and innovative business models for the purpose of developing new competences, increasing production, increasing exports and preserving existing ones, and encouraging the creation of new jobs.
The recovery of the economy affected by the Covid-19 pandemic implies not only repairing the harmful consequences of the market, but also creating the conditions for a faster and better adaptation of the economy to modern and future environmental and environmental requirements, and through encouraging diversification and digitalisation affect the increased efficiency of production and the preservation of existing and the creation of new jobs.
The call therefore aims to incentivise SMEs:
– the use of digital technologies and solutions in business processes to increase efficiency, competitiveness and internationalisation of business;
– the use of digital and green technologies and solutions in production processes for business optimisation, reduction of negative environmental impact and more efficient use of resources in production;
– on the transition to a circular economy
In addition to investments in tangible and intangible assets, this Call will also support additional investments in the development of knowledge, skills and competences of SME employees and the use of advisory services in finding appropriate solutions.
Under this call, support will be granted for initial investments by SMEs related to:
• the establishment of a new business unit,
• expanding the capacity of an existing business unit;
• diversification of the production of the business unit
• a fundamental change in the overall production process of an existing business unit.
