The Ministry of Science and Education has announced a competition Start up/spin off enterprise young researchers What is the purpose Encouraging entrepreneurial activity of young researchers through incentives to start their own start-up/spin-off company.
The call is intended to establish a start-up/spin-off company in the (co-)ownership of one or more young researchers employed by a public research organisation. The company is expected to have a regulated relationship with the public research organisation, in the form of agreements on the use of intellectual property rights and other rights related to the commercialisation of the results of the research and development activities of the public research organisation.
Minimum grant amount: 66.000,00 €
Maximum grant amount: 200.000,00 €
The deadline for submitting documents is 17 May 2023.
Eligible applicant:
- meets the definition of micro or small enterprise and has been established no more than five years before the date of submission of the project proposal and has not yet distributed profits.
- is (co-)owned by one or more young researchers employed at a public research organisation in the Republic of Croatia;
- has regulated terms of use of intellectual property for the technology or solution that is the subject of the project, in the form of an Agreement with a public research organisation.
