[EnterYOUTH] Announcement of workshops for entrepreneurs

Three new workshops of the EnterYOUTH Project, intended for beginner entrepreneurs or young people who have an idea, will be held in April at the Rijeka Development Agency Porin. The workshops will be free of charge for participants, since they are co-financed by the EnterYOUTH project, and after the workshops, RRA Porin d.o.o. will select ten participants to draw up business plans.

The EnterYOUTH project is implemented within the Slovenia-Croatia cross-border programme, in the period from 1 March 2014 to 17 June 2015.  The leading partner of the EnterYOUTH project is the City of Rijeka, and the partners are: Regional Development Agency Porin, Faculty of Economics and Business Rijeka, Šolski center Ptuj and Bistra Ptuj.

As part of the project, activities and workshops are planned for high school students, students, unemployed young people and beginner entrepreneurs, with the aim of getting to know the basics of entrepreneurship and developing their ideas. The aim of the project is to empower young entrepreneurs and encourage entrepreneurship among young people, in cooperation with local partnerships.

At the press conference attended by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Rijeka, Miroslav Matešić, advisor for the development and implementation of programs in the Department of Entrepreneurship and also project manager, Tina Ragužin, director of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin, Ernest Cukrov, and Ana Babić and dr.sc. Ivan Frančišković from the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka, presented the activities of the project that have already been held and announced new ones.
