The Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia, in accordance with the Tourism Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia until 2020 and its action plans and national programmes related to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, is publishing a public call for proposals for projects – Competitiveness of the tourism economy.
The objectives of the call are to improve the offer of small family hotels, sustainable development, green tourism and the development of special forms of tourism (health, cultural, cyclotourism, nautical, congress, rural).
In addition to the main objective of increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of Croatian tourism, the Programme should also contribute to achieving the following strategic objectives of tourism development:
improving the structure and quality of accommodation
new employment
Realisation of new investments
Increase in tourist spending
the development of tourism in underdeveloped areas
prolonging the season until year-round tourism

Applications to the public call may be submitted by:
Small business entities (non-public companies, crafts and cooperatives)
farms and family farms – family farms
