The INSPIRA LEADER 2 conference will be held in Mošćenička Draga from 24 to 26 May this year. in the organization LEADER Network Croatia, the ‘Terra liburna’ LAG, LAGUR Vela vrata i EUROPE DIRECT Rijeka within the Rijeka Development Agency PORIN. The conference will be preceded, from 23 to 24 May, by a workshop for LAGs organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Rural Network in cooperation with the Croatian LEADER Network, the Croatian Network for Rural Development, the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development and the LAG hosting the LAG ‘Terra liburna’.
FORMAT OF CONFERENCE
INSPIRA LEADER is an informal highly interactive conference conceived as a place to present ideas, concepts and ventures in short presentations of 15 minutes each, several keynote lectures (up to 30 minutes duration), 2 panel discussions, 10 minutes Blitz talks i Digital Breaks with digital collaborative tools.
SMART COMMUNITY
The aim of the conference is to present knowledge and experiences on the transition to green, sustainable and resilient communities for citizens from rural areas of the Republic of Croatia and to encourage local stakeholders to implement innovative solutions and technologies for the transition to a circular economy.
EUROPEAN YEAR OF THE COURT
In order for rural and fisheries communities to start their path towards the full green transition, it is essential to provide local stakeholders with additional knowledge and bring them closer to new frameworks for the implementation of their projects, as well as provide insight into the skills sets they will have to master in the coming period, so INSPIRA LEADER is also the place where the European Year of Skills will be celebrated.
SALON OF SMART IDEAS
During the conference, there will also be an exhibition-promotion Smart Ideas Salon where participants will be able to see first-hand innovative products, services and successful projects, and get to know the drivers of the green-blue and digital transition in the Republic of Croatia.
EV TEST DRIVE and DEMONSTRACTIONS
Participants will be able to test the driving of electric cars, demonstration equipment and machinery.
DO NOT SHOW DIGITAL VAL Innovation Bootcamp the European Centre for Digital Innovation EDIH Adria
Bootcamp is a great novelty of this INSPIRA LEADER. EDIH Adria artificial intelligence and high-performance computing focuses on the sectors of health and quality of life (including health tourism), transport and mobility (with special emphasis on the maritime sector) and energy and sustainable development, and during Bootcamp 15 participants from Adriatic Croatia will be able to find out how up to 50,000 Euros of support per company / institution, which are delivered in the form of EDIH Adria services.

INSPIRA LEADER Warm-up EXPERIENCE TERRA LIBURNA
An informal meeting was organised on Wednesday 24 May in the afternoon.’Coffee Cake" with local stakeholders. Continues with the Liburnian Dinner where the host LAG ‘Terra liburna’ will mark 10 years of work, and a prize game. At the end of the evening RETRO BEACH PARTY with DJ and unlimited drink for all participants PLUS and GOLD registration fees.
STAND-UP SHOW
On Thursday, May 25, 2023, the evening program will be filled by a cheerful team of stand-up comedians.
