EIT Jumpstarter – the 2022 European pre-acceleration programme is about to start!

EIT Jumpstarter It is one of Europe's most famous pre-acceleration proramas and will soon start in 2022!

This year, they invite candidates to submit their innovative ideas in six thematic categories:

  • healthcare;
  • raw materials,
  • agri-food,
  • energy;
  • manufacturing; 
  • urban mobility

The program is intended for scientific project teams, innovators, scientists, doctoral students or students of master's studies with a product or idea, from thematic categories, that they want to market.

What does EIT Jumpstarter offer?

During the eight-month program, innovators will find and confirm the best business model for their innovative idea, i.e. gain knowledge about business improvement, offering value to the customer, market segmentation, finances, investment bases, legal bases. Courses are based on methodology lean start-up from Silicon Valley adapted to the European environment.

During the program, participants will be provided with travel and accommodation support, and the best teams in each category will have the opportunity to win €10,000 A valuable cash prize.

Why is it unique?

The EIT Jumpstarter is a highly selective, competitive programme and participation in it opens the door to European markets and connects the best teams with the six major industrial partners of the EIT Communities such as: GE Healthcare, Siemens, Philips, Roche, Bosch, Nestlé, Pepsico and Maspex, among others.

Jumpstarter has trained more than 348 teams since 2017, and the program itself won the Best Association Training Initiative Award of the European Association Awards in 2019.
