[EDUCATION] Safe handling and application of pesticides

DMD Naturalis College – adult education institution, organises Complementary training on safe handling and use of pesticides, and teaching the Sustainable Use of Pesticides Act (NN 46/22), according to which all professional users, distributors and advisors must regularly update the acquired knowledge through supplementary training at the latest within 5 years after obtaining basic training, in order to be able to continue to use pesticides in the course of their activities.

Complementary training will take place 21 September 2024, starting at 10 a.m. in the premises of the conference hall of the Torpedo Production Park at Milutina Barača 60.

The training is designed to:

  • OPG and other farmers of the sub-category: arable, fruit, viticulture, vegetable, ornamental and olive growing;
  • companies engaged in agricultural production (d.d., d.o.o., cooperatives) subcategories: arable, fruit, viticulture, vegetable, ornamental and olive growing;
  • legal and natural persons maintaining public areas (parks, gardens, sports grounds, roads, railways and other public areas) subcategories: utility companies and other legal and natural persons.

Complementary training can be attended by participants who have attended 15 hours of regular classes on the sustainable use of pesticides from basic training and have passed the exam from basic training, as evidenced by a copy of the certificate of previous education and a copy of the identity card.

The cost of additional training is €30.00. Manual and accessories for work are provided free of charge to each participant.
