Micro loans for growth and inclusion

U okviru Programa „Učinkoviti ljudski potencijali 2021. – 2027.“ dostupan je financijski instrument Micro loans for growth and inclusion, koji provodi HAMAG-BICRO. Zajam je namijenjen mikro i malim poduzećima s ciljem poticanja samozapošljavanja, otvaranja radnih mjesta i jačanja poslovanja, posebno za one iz ranjivih skupina.

Zajmovi se odobravaju u iznosima od 1.000 do 25.000 eura, uz nisku kamatnu stopu, mogućnost počeka do 12 mjeseci i otplatni rok do 5 godina.

Dodatna prednost ovog instrumenta je mogućnost otpisa do 30 % glavnice zajma ako korisnik u razdoblju korištenja sredstava zaposli pripadnike ranjivih skupina – uključujući mlade bez radnog iskustva, osobe s invaliditetom, dugotrajno nezaposlene te osobe starije od 55 godina.

Zajmovi se mogu koristiti za ulaganja u osnovna sredstva (materijalna i nematerijalna imovina) ili kao obrtna sredstva (maksimalno do 30% iznosa zajma), isključivo za projekte koji se provode na području Republike Hrvatske.

Prijave su otvorene do iskorištenja sredstava, a najkasnije do kraja 2029. godine.

[ACCELERATOR Opportunity] Almost €3 million for innovative companies through the Acceleration Programme

Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) awarded the grant agreements to the beneficiaries; the Acceleration Program – a national programme aimed at accelerating the growth and development of innovative start-ups. In total, almost €3 million; where the maximum aid amount per beneficiary was up to €25,000.

These are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that were previously selected to participate in the Acceleration Programme and have passed the Pre-acceleration phase and competed in the the largest competition of innovative projects in Croatia, held in December 2024 in Zagreb, Osijek and Zadar.

The signatories of the contract also include: Museit Network d.o.o. i Bambino Bundle j.d.o.o., users AKCELERATORA Opportunity, which operates within a consortium and which together with us (beneficiary's mentor) STEP RI i the Physical Development Center.

Both companies develop solutions that meet real market needs, with a strong focus on technological innovation, user experience and sustainability.

Museit Network d.o.o.

Museit Network develops a digital platform for the profit and promotion of musicians. Musicians, especially independents, will be provided with a new channel for monetization and promotion their works, and business users (companies, agencies, brands) easy access Original music for commercial purposes. The platform enables direct connections between musicians and the business sector through creative projects and music marketplaces, a digitally transforming way of collaborating in the music industry.

  • Thanks to the grants, Museit will complete the development of the platform up to level TRL 9, which means that the platform will be fully functional, tested and ready for market and expansion.

Bambino Bundle j.d.o.o.

Bambino Bundle develops Digital platform for sustainable children's fashion, which allows parents to easily rent quality clothes for children from 0 to 3 years through a subscription model. Through a few clicks, parents can choose, receive and replace clothes when the child is outgrown. This model not only reduces costs; alreadyextends the lifespan of clothing and reduces textile waste, through which the project actively contributesa circular economy and more responsible consumption.

  • The support will allow further development and improvement of the platform, as well as expanding sustainable solutions to an increasing number of users.

Grants for growth and competitiveness

The appropriation is intended to cover activities aimed at developing innovative products and solutions, including:

  • technology or market upgrade, testing and validation;
  • development of pilot lines and test versions;
  • the protection of intellectual property,
  • external professional services and preparation for commercialisation.

These funds allow users to additional momentum towards stable growth and internationalisation, and are confirmed by the quality and market potential of their solutions;, selected from more than one hundred registered teams from all over Croatia.

Applications for the first HGK pitch competition are open: Winners win 5,000 euros and study trip to Japan

Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) organizes its first pitch competition focused on Croatian start-ups and scale-ups that develop green solutions. The competition is being held as part of the sixth sustainability conference “HGK Support Sustainable”, which will be held on 9 and 10 September in Zagreb.

The best teams in both categories (start-up and scale-up) expect Valuable rewards:

  • 5,000 euros
  • Study trip to Japan
  • Assessment of investment readiness and recommendations for improvement
  • Connect with the network of domestic and international investors

Pitch competition HGK is a way for these companies to grow and realize their full potential, and also serves as a springboard for the international placement of green solutions that have emerged in Croatia.

Who can apply?

Croatian companies have the right to apply in start-up or scale-up phase, which:

  • develop green, innovative technological, production or service solutions renewable energy, recycling and reuse, circular design and production, as well as projects in waste management, water and marine protection, biodiversity and ecosystems, pollution, sustainable agriculture, mobility, climate and construction/construction;
  • have a level Technology readiness between TRL 5 and TRL 8;
  • So far they have collected less than €5 million of investment.

Applications are open until 28 July 2025.

The European Commission has proposed an ambitious budget for 2028-2030. 2034

The budget is close to €2 trillion.

The new multiannual framework aims to strengthening the independence, resilience and competitiveness of the European Union in the next decade and in line with the Commission’s ambitions to make society and the economy independent, prosperous, secure and prosperous;

  • Increased transparency and protection of the rule of law.
