Strengthen your business with the SME Fund

European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) under the programme Ideas Powered for Business  published the Fifth Call for the submission of applications for the use of the SME Fund, starting from 1st until the end of September 2021.

The Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Fund (SME Fund) is a €20 million grant scheme to help EU-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) gain easier access to and greater benefit from their intellectual property rights.

The Fund offers financial support to SMEs in the form of reimbursement of trade mark and design applications and/or IP Scan services, up to a maximum of EUR 1500 per company.

Call for ideas related to the heritage of the Port of Rijeka

Do you have an idea that is related to the heritage of the Port of Rijeka? Please respond to the open call below.

The subject of this Call is the submission of applications for collecting ideas related to the heritage of the Port of Rijeka based on the elements of tangible (goods, technology) and intangible (knowledge, crafts) heritage that shaped the entire heritage. This allows creative people to submit ideas based on the construction, restoration and evaluation of cultural and natural heritage related to the port of Rijeka.

You can join the information workshop on the conditions of the call, which will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the conference hall of the Torpedo Production Park, Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o., Milutina Barača 60, 1st floor, Rijeka.

The EU project is called TEMPorary USes as start-up actions to enhance port (in)tangible heritage. The acronym of the project is TEMPUS.

The long-term objective of the project is to enhance new economic development based on the valorisation of hidden tangible and intangible port heritage, including ancient and industrial archaeological heritage and the natural context of urban ports in the Adriatic Sea through the launch of Temporary Uses Actions (TUAs).
