[ANNOUNCEMENT CALL] Opportunity Accelerator

We invite all innovative entrepreneurs, development teams and individuals to apply for participation in the program Accelerator Opportunity. This program provides a unique opportunity to develop and improve business ideas through structured mentoring, counselling and accelerator resource utilisation programme.

About the program

Opportunity Accelerator, which along with us make STEP RI i Development Center of Lika-Senj County, part of it the HAMAG - BICRO Initiative It is carried out in three phases: pre-acceleration, acceleration and post-acceleration.

The program is designed to support innovative companies, teams and individuals u development of their products and services and enable their successful business in the market.

Pre-acceleration

Pre-acceleration phase lasts 3 months and includes the following: services up to a maximum value of €4,000:

  • Use of space with all overhead costs
  • Initial assessment of the state of the project with the development of a personalized acceleration plan
  • Consulting services by business and technology mentors
  • Access to accelerator equipment and machinery
  • Participation in workshops and trainings and preparation for the final presentation

After the completion of the pre-acceleration phase, participants will present their projects to an evaluation panel composed of five independent foreign experts. The presentation will be held in English. In case the applicant is a start-up (up to 5 years of age), the applicant can access the acceleration programme if the jury determines that the project is successful and has a product/service at TRL 5-8. Applicants in teams and individuals (natural persons), in addition to the above conditions, must set up a business or craft before joining the acceleration programme.

Important: Only participants who successfully complete the pre-acceleration phase will have the possibility to apply for the acceleration and post-acceleration phase.

Acceleration and post-acceleration

Acceleration lasts 9 months It is intended exclusively for companies with products and services in the TRL 5-8 phase resulting from the pre-acceleration programme.

The programme includes the following: services equivalent to a maximum of €17,000:

  • Use of space with all overhead costs
  • Consulting services by business and technology mentors
  • Creating a business plan with a marketing strategy
  • Access to accelerator equipment and machinery
  • Connecting with investors and business partners

Users of the acceleration program have the opportunity to:

  • Participations on additional restricted calls up to €25,000, intended financing of operating costs not covered by the programme (e.g. purchase of equipment and instruments, staff salary costs, patenting, certification and testing costs…)
  • Applications to Business internationalisation vouchers companies, which includes activities of participation of the company in international events, exhibitions, fairs, workshops, conferences, and includes travel expenses, overnight expenses, registration fees, etc.

The post-acceleration program lasts 12 months and includes further project development support through the use of business premises with all overhead costs, continuous advisory support and participation in events with the aim of connecting and accessing investors. The services listed are in the equivalent of a maximum of €6,000.

You can apply for a newly created companies (up to 5 years of age)Development teams i individuals who develop innovative products, services and technologies which are currently in stages TRL 5-8.

Source of funding and de minimis aid

The acceleration programme is implemented under the measure “Strengthening acceleration activity” and is funded by the 2021 National Recovery and Resilience Plan. 20-2026

The service provided to the undertaking by the accelerator-operator of the programme for the pre-acceleration, acceleration and post-acceleration phases constitutes de minimis aid pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 113 December 2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union on de minimis aid, i.e. in accordance with the Rules on the granting of de minimis aid (de minimis) HAMAG-BICRO as of 7 March 2024.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted by filling in Form 1 which is an integral part the Public Call published by HAMAG BICRO.

Applicants in the application select those accelerators with which they want to cooperate, ranking them according to their preferences and priorities. If there is no space in the selected accelerator, the application is redirected to the next one, in order.

Applications are open until 7 August 2024 of the year.

[OPTIONAL CALL] Eurostars application vouchers

Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and InvestmentHAMAG-BICRO) announces the opening of a joint call for international collaborative projects in the programme Eurostars 3 and allows companies to send a working version of their application to the competition "Voucher programme for the services of experts to help prepare a project application for the Eurostars programme".

Vouchers in the amount of €3.350 will be awarded to the best-rated pre-applications to co-finance the services of experts to assist in the preparation of projects.

Submission of pre-registration is not mandatory, but in this way companies have the possibility to:

  • get a voucher of €3,350 for the services of a project application writing specialist; and
  • check how much the project is in line with the propositions of the programme.

The deadline for submission of pre-notification is 7.7.2024. of the year.


About the program

Eurostars is part of the European Partnership for Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which encourages small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to cooperate with international partners in launching research and development (R&D) activities. The partnership is co-financed by the European Union through Horizon Europe. The basic criterion is the participation of at least two member countries in the project. Objectives of the programme

  • Encourage companies to invest in R&D activities and thus strengthen their innovation capacity
  • Encouraging international cooperation between entrepreneurs
  • Create the basis for international market placement

Applicants

The main partner in the project must be a small or medium-sized R&D performing SME. Other project partners must be small or medium-sized companies.

Financial allocation

The maximum amount of non-repayable support per project is maximum €200,000i.e. 60% for micro and small enterprises and 50% for medium-sized enterprises, whichever is smaller.

Eligible costs: employee salaries, depreciation and small inventory, external service costs, travel costs, other development costs.

Duration

The maximum duration of the project is three years (36 months).

The Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investment (HAMAG-BICRO) Public call for expression of interest in participating in the PHASE OF PREDACELERATION within the AKCELERATION PROGRAMME under the measure ‘Strengthening acceleration activities’, for the purpose of implementing a series of activities aimed at innovative start-ups, development teams and individuals (natural persons – for the pre-acceleration phase).

Subject of the call

Enable innovative start-ups, development teams and individuals stay in premises the Acceleration Program and provide a service Business support in 2 years.

Eligible applicants

  • start-ups established for a maximum period of 5 years prior to the date of submission of a project proposal the development of which is related to innovative solutions, services and technologies; 
  • development teams and individuals (natural persons) developing an innovative product/service These are currently in phases TRL 5-8.

Programme implementers

HAMAG-BICRO 9 consortia – accelerators implementing an acceleration programme, which will provide their services within the region in which they belong.

In the area of the Northern Adriatic, which includes Zadar, Lika-Senj, Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Istria counties, there is an Accelerator Opportunity which, along with our agency, consists of Step Ri i Development center of Lika-Senj County.

Aid amount

Beneficiaries will be able to receive non-financial support through accelerator services as follows:

  • in the pre-acceleration phase up to a maximum of €4,000
  • in the acceleration phase up to a maximum of €17,000
  • in the post-acceleration phase up to a maximum of €6,000

[OPTIONAL CALL] Support for small farmers

Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development published a tender for the implementation of the intervention 73.12. Support for small farmers.

The survival and development of small farms is based on the need to restructure production by increasing added value. This type of intervention supports small, potentially viable and market-oriented farms in line with market demands. This will help farms in a commercially viable transition to market-oriented production, which is a prerequisite for achieving competitiveness in the agricultural sector.

Subject of the Contest

Granting of support under the Rules on the implementation of interventions to support investments in primary agricultural production and processing of agricultural products referred to in the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the Republic of Croatia 2023 20-2027 (NN No 132/2023; 7/2024 and 18/2024).

Eligible beneficiaries

Natural and legal persons (except cooperatives)

  • entered in the Register of farmers for at least one year;
  • an economic farm size of between EUR 3,000 SO and EUR 10,000 SO if they invest in the fruit processing or production sector, including olives and vines, as well as in the processing or production of vegetables, including potatoes and mushrooms, and flowers;
  • an economic farm size of between EUR 3,000 SO and EUR 15,000 SO in the case of investments in other processing or production sectors;
  • have settled their financial obligations to the state budget and have not been blocked for a total of more than 30 days in the past 6 months, of which no more than 15 days in continuity.

Amount of public support per project

  • Minimum aid amount: 5,000 EUR
  • Maximum aid amount: €30,000
  • Aid intensity: up to 85 % the value of the total eligible costs;

Eligible costs

  • construction/reconstruction and/or equipping (including on-farm external and internal infrastructure) of animal buildings, greenhouses, greenhouses;
  • the construction/reconstruction and/or equipping (including on-farm external and internal infrastructure) of facilities for the storage and cooling of products from own agricultural production;
  • the construction and/or equipping of on-farm irrigation systems;
  • the construction/reconstruction and/or equipping of agricultural processing facilities referred to in Annex I to the EU Treaty;
  • the purchase of equipment for the harvesting, sorting and packaging of own agricultural products;
  • the purchase of agricultural machinery (including machinery and equipment for precision farming) and commercial vehicles for own agricultural production (including the viticulture sector);
  • the restructuring of existing and/or the erection of new perennial plantings, excluding the restructuring of existing vineyards for the production of grapes for wine;
  • climate change adaptation and mitigation systems;
  • purchase of land and facilities for the realization of the project, up to 10% the value of the total eligible costs of the project (excluding overheads);
  • Intangible costs: the purchase or development of computer programs, the purchase of patent and licence rights, copyrights, trademarks and other intangible investments related to tangible investment.
