The final conference of the Blue Green City project from the programme (Interreg EUROPE and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund) was held from 10 to 12 October 2022. From the Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o., as a partner of the project, participated Doris Sošić and Tijana Sigel.
The first day of the program was related to the Steering Commitee meeting of the project, where the organization of the final conference was discussed, the financial aspect of the second phase of the project, the way of reporting and unfinished activities to be achieved by the end of 2022. .
The second day of the program refers to the final conference of the project, which was held in a hybrid format (with physical presence in Ingolstadt and online for all other stakeholders who could not participate physically). The content of the conference was related to the presentation of the city of Ingolstadt and the region, the presentation of the Interreg Europe programme, the presentation of the project and its results, the presentation of the implementation of the Action Plans of each partner, the discussion on highlighting the barriers to green infrastructure and the panel discussion on the possibilities of financing various green infrastructure projects. Doris Sošić, project manager, presented the Action Plan related to the area of the city of Rijeka, i.e. the realization of previous activities on the development of a strategic document for the development of the green infrastructure of the City of Rijeka, the realization of small projects co-financed by the City of Rijeka for the arrangement of locations whose initiators are citizens, citizens' initiatives and associations, and on the implementation of training on the topics of climate change and the value of ecosystem services. In the panel discussion on the possibilities of co-financing green infrastructure projects, Doris Sošić presented the project of the Rijeka Local Partnership Programme, which has been implemented by the City of Rijeka for several years through micro-financing of projects for the arrangement of locations for green areas, children's playgrounds, etc. The third day of the programme consisted of a study visit to the locations of green and blue infrastructure on the Danube: “Gerolfinger Eichenwald” and “Treidelweg” where natural beauties and the organisation of paths and facilities for citizens in the Ingolstadt area could be seen.
Sixteen years in a row, as part of Lifelong Learning Week, citizens have the opportunity to participate in free lectures, workshops, round tables and similar events.
Lifelong Learning Week The UNESCO initiative was launched in 1999 and is celebrated every year in a number of countries on all continents and with the same objectives: sensitise the public to build a positive atmosphere about the importance and need of lifelong learning, promote a culture of learning and encourage personal motivation of individuals to engage in lifelong learning processes.
Activities 16. Lifelong Learning Week, started on Monday 26 September and runs until 2 October 2022.

The Rijeka Development Agency Porin is implementing the Erasmus+ project STREETS (Synergic TRaining to Enhance Entrepreneurial and Technological Skills) with partners from Italy and Slovenia.
The goal of the STREETS project is to create Training for young NEETs (not in education or training and not in employment) to encourage the development of skills that they can use in the working environment (in line with the first VET objective selected).
As part of this project, Free education and mentoring for 30 hours. The target group for education is young NEETs (people who are not in formal education or other education, nor are employed) who are interested in entrepreneurship and digital technologies.
The aim of the training is to develop soft skills for self-employment and digital innovation. combining theory and practice, working groups and workshops, in particular on home life and smart cities. At the end of the course, there will be a final competition where the participants will be able to present the ideas they developed during the course and workshops. Students will work in teams to develop their social skills and to expand their acquaintances.
This program aims to Increase personal growth opportunities and employability of young people reducing skills mismatches and developing skills aimed at self-employment.
Participants must meet the following conditions:
• Ages between 18 and 29 years
• Not involved in other activities
• Not involved in other formal or non-formal education or training
