3DITion - free workshop

As part of the EU project RESTART_4Danube, The City of Rijeka in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Rijeka Development Agency Porin organizes a free workshop called 3DITion on which it will be demonstrated possibilities of 3D technology and its application in creative industries and manufacturing activities.

Where and when?

The workshop will be held in Thursday, 31 March 2022, at the Torpedo Production Park, Milutina Barača 60, starting at 2 p.m..

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is intended for entrepreneurs, future entrepreneurs and other interested participants. 3DITion workshop will introduce the participants to the Basics of 3D Technology and its advantages which can be used in day-to-day business and/or fully implemented in the production process. The workshop will include Demonstration of 3D modeling, 3D scanning and 3D printing on top-of-the-range industrial equipment, where the finished product will ultimately be created.

In addition to direct insight into the state-of-the-art 3D machines equipped with the Torpedo Production Park, workshop participants will gain basic and practical knowledge of additive technology, which will enable and support the development of ideas that can rely on this advanced technology.

Project RESTART_4Danube

The purpose of the EU project RESTART_4Danube is to co-create through transnational cooperation public policies and activities that help strengthen the orientation of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the field of cultural and creative industries towards business markets, and to stimulate innovation and growth in the creative industries in general.

The EU project from the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme RESTART_4Danube (Fostering the development of creative industries through the regeneration of urban areas for a stronger Danube region) started in July 2020 and lasts until the end of 2022, and is co-financed with 1.8 million Euros from three European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI). The project involves 25 partners from 11 countries, including the City of Rijeka and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, representing the Croatian tandem for the implementation of project activities at the local and transnational level.
