About us
We have been established in 1996 since we have been continuously operating as an entrepreneurial support agency.
We are primarily focused on the implementation of the entrepreneurial incubator program, within which we provide a number of administrative, educational, consulting and infrastructural services to incubator users.
Secondary, we are recognized on the market as a consulting company with many years of experience in the preparation and implementation of projects financed from domestic and EU funds, the development of business plans and various studies, and business consulting in how we contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in our environment.
In order to expand the capacity of business incubators in the City of Rijeka and increase their quality, in cooperation with the City of Rijeka as the project manager, we plan to open the Torpedo Production Park – a technological and educational incubator for entrepreneurs with a special emphasis on innovative companies in the manufacturing and related activities sector. The Torpedo Production Park will be equipped with state-of-the-art 3D scanning and 3D printing technology of high industrial quality that enables the production of products from various materials.

Main duties of the coordinator for incubators of manufacturing activities and technology laboratory
- Works on CNC machine, 3D printer, 3D scanner
- Works at AutoCad
- Responsible for equipment, inputs and outputs
- Conducts training courses for CNC machine operator; AutoCad operator/operator training; training in CNC machine programming – basic course 3D design, modelling, printing – advanced course – 3D scanning process, working with polygonized 3D models, reverse engineering, 3D print
- Find new clients and maintain cooperation with existing ones
- Provides technical support to users of manufacturing incubators
- It takes care of the maintenance of the production facility and business premises used as incubation units for production activities and the business premises in which the offices of the Company are located (organization of repairs and minor works)
- Takes care of the duration of the contract with the users of the incubator for production activities and the timely handover of premises
- Monitors the development and realization of the development program of the user entrepreneur of the incubator of production activities
- Performs other tasks by order of a superior
Formal requirements for applying for the competition
- CS or more — Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Shipbuilding, Aviation, Construction, Metallurgy or Industrial Design
- Competences in the field of 3D modeling and reverse engineering
- English in Speech and Letter (B2)
- If the candidate is a foreign national – active knowledge of the Croatian language in speech and script

* the term ‘VŠS’ means a completed undergraduate university course of study lasting, as a rule, three to four years, the completion of which leads to the award of between 180 and 240 ECTS credits, or a completed undergraduate professional course lasting no more than three years, i.e. higher professional qualifications acquired by the worker in accordance with the regulations in force before the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (NN Nos 123/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07 – Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14 – Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, 60/15).

Application for the competition
The application for the competition must contain:
- CV, handwritten signed, must contain at least:
1) name and surname of the candidate, telephone number and e-mail address of the candidate;
2) data on education;
3) information on seniority (if applicable);
4) Explanation of competencies in the field of 3D modelling and reverse engineering.
- Certificate of proficiency in English (certificates, certificates or similar). The certificate may be replaced by a self-declaration of the candidate, made under criminal and material responsibility, confirming a certain level of English proficiency.
- Proof of professional qualifications and profession (copy of the relevant certificate of completion)
- Proof of nationality (copy of passport, identity card or other public document that can prove citizenship)
Applications for the competition and mandatory annexes must be in the Croatian language and Latin script. Attachments may be submitted in a foreign language, with a translation into Croatian by a certified court interpreter.
Applications for the competition must be submitted in a closed envelope with:
– Consignor data
– the name and address of the recipient;
– an indication of: "Production and Technology Lab incubator coordinator – do not open!".
Applications for the competition are submitted in person via the registration form or via an authorised postal service provider or other appropriate courier service to the address Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o., Milutina Barača 62, Rijeka. The date of application shall be deemed to be the date of the postmark on the envelope in which the application is addressed if it is addressed by registered letter. If the application is sent by ordinary shipment, the date of application will be considered the day of receipt of the application to the address indicated above.
Legal Advantage in Recruitment
A candidate who enjoys the right of priority in recruitment under a special law is obliged to invoke this right in the application for the competition and has priority in the same general and special conditions for employment and test results (when the test is conducted), compared to other candidates. Candidate invoking priority for recruitment in accordance with Article 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union The Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families Act (Narodne Novine (NN; Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia) No 121/17) requires them to invoke this right in their applications and submit documents proving their right to obtain an advantage in employment, together with the application for the competition. Other provisions and notes
A person who has not submitted a timely and orderly application or who does not meet the formal requirements of this competition shall not be considered as a candidate registered for the competition and his application shall not be considered.
Candidates who meet the required conditions and who correspond to the required profile will be invited for an interview. The interview may test the candidates' knowledge, abilities and competences for the performance of their duties, and candidates may also be invited to further test their professional knowledge, abilities and skills. Testing may include psychometric testing and other relevant assessment methods for candidates such as: interview expanded with professional exercises and tasks, written test of knowledge, offer of a new solution and the like, all in accordance with the needs of this job.
A candidate who does not respond to the invitation to interview/test will be deemed to have abandoned the competition.
The company Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o. reserves the right not to select any candidate and cancel the competition at any time.
Protection of candidates' personal data
By applying for the competition, the candidate gives consent to the Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o. for the collection and processing of personal data listed in the application for the competition and the attached documentation, for the purpose of conducting the selection procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the General Regulation EU 2016/679, as long as there is a need for it. Candidates will be informed about the results of the competition via the website of the Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o.: www.porin.hr in such a way that the job title and the name and surname of the selected candidate will be published.
