Temporary uses as Start-up actions to enhance port (in)tangible heritage

TEMPUS It connected cities and ports along the Adriatic Sea to revitalize abandoned port spaces through the concept of temporary uses. Tools have been developed to map the cultural and natural heritage of port cities and to implement pilot initiatives that have tested the concept of temporary uses. It also created a network of cooperation between entrepreneurs, academia and public institutions for the long-term development of innovative solutions in port areas.

RRA Porin in the project

RRA Porin led the WP4 work package, which developed the TEMPUS Toolkit – a tool to boost entrepreneurship in port cities. The Agency coordinated the development of local business strategies, entrepreneurial maps and open calls for innovative maritime ideas. In addition, Porin participated in the dissemination of results, the organization of exhibitions and the creation of virtual representations of the historical and cultural heritage of port cities

The project was approved from the Interreg V-A Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 programme and the European Regional Development Fund.
